Episode 463 - The Magic Wand
In this episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto talks about recent discussions with Administration Leaders and Former Management of the Border Patrol and wonders why they are talking about policy issues they never bothered to correct when they were "In Charge." Now that those former managers/chiefs are out of the Agency they are talking about items they would have changed! Art attends the AFGE Elections in California and sends a shout out to Mario Campos, District 12 National Vice President of the AFGE. Art tells us about the recent News story of a shooting by Agents on the Tohono O' Odham reservation and how certain Media Outlets have been baiting the Story yet it brings up the question as to why the Agency has not held a press conference to outlay the facts in the case. While in California, Art gets some time to share with the family at Disneyland and while he may wish the "Hairy Porter" Magic Wand could fix the Policy issues with Immigration he still has a memorable time. EPISODE 448 - Going to the Dogs
For this Week’s Episode of the Green Line Art Del Cueto has had a busy week and shares some of the stresses for the week. One of these centered around a new program by CBP to introduce Dogs/Canines to reduce stress. While Art is a dog lover, he feels this is certainly not the solution for Agents to feel lower levels of stress. The pure solution would be Policy Change and more agents to work the overtaxed borders and deal with reducing the number of Gotaways. His views ruffled some fur in management however most of the Agents he has spoken with feel the Dog program is not the solution. Art has a serious discussion on Law Enforcement and the horrible situation in Memphis. Tune in for the latest Green Line Radio Show. Connect with us on social media. Life Lessons learned through stories of others that have left behind legacies and how special life is. Art shows how amazing sometimes it can be to step back and look at the entire picture and what we may hold as stress can be looked at differently when the importance of why we are here is revealed. Surprisingly, the same thoughts can apply to the situation on numbers coming into the country requesting asylum and the continued numbers of gotaways overtaxing the mission of the Border Patrol. Simply put, the Administration needs to correct the situation and look at the entire picture how it is affecting the Country and how it will in the coming years. The Agency has been seeking to hire more Border Patrol Agent yet as discussed in previous episodes, there is a problem with the Polygraph steps which has been outlined in various media reports. Art explains what this means and why this is, in his newly created word, Unsense. Another problem with a story in the news center around an upcoming visit by Vice President Harris to Arizona yet does not seem to involve the situation along the border. Art believes that the numbers are going to continue to rise even with the talk of the extension of Title 42 and it is evident with the numbers.
