Season 4 has concluded and what an episode to go out on. After a few not so amazing episodes of The Walking Dead, this weeks offering not only reminded us why the show is so great, but also how powerful it can be when everything just clicks the way it should. As we near the end of the fourth season, we find nearly all the groups who survived the prison attack are now headed to a mysterious sanctuary called Terminus. This particular episode has Bob as the focal point where we learn some new things about the troubled man. This week was all Daryl and Beth as we watched them fumble about in the woods, find some moonshine, open up to each other and find just about every other way possible to bore us to tears. This week we bounce back to Rick, Carl and Michonne who are still held up in the same house as Rick attempts to heal from his wounds. Meanwhile, Carl and Michonne go on a food hunt just when Rick has some unexpected guests arrive at the house. The other arc we see this week is Glenn and Tara along with their new friends who claim to have a mystery cure for the zombie plague. Continuing with last weeks structure of focusing on one group of prison survivors at a time, this week we follow a few new groups as they scatter and try to find each other. We discuss the new direction the show is headed in as well as the unique pairings that our survivors find themselves in and how it will effect their immediate futures. The Walking Dead has returned and with it an entirely different path for our group of survivors who it so happens aren't even a group anymore. Scattered, beaten and weary, this week we find out what happened to Rick, Carl and Michonne after the standoff at the prison. While it is a decidedly subdued premiere episode, it does seem to indicate that Rick and the others post-prison adventures are going to offer some much needed insight into not only who each person is, but who they have become since the zombie outbreak occurred. With this third season of The Walking Dead now in full swing we are able to get a clearer picture of what it may hold for us and both Brian and myself couldn't be happier with where it appears to be going. With the introduction of some new characters and plenty of zombie killing, this episode is a great follow up to a fantastic season opener. After a 7 month hiatus we have returned along with the season 3 premiere episode of AMC's The Walking Dead. Following an extremely problematic and troubling second season, both Brian and myself were weary to say the least going into this season. Luckily this episode comes out swinging as it quells almost every single problem we had with the previous season. So join us as we discuss what has us a little more optimistic about this new season. Season 2 comes to a close with a fitting end to a season full of procrastination and a whole lot of meandering. While we thought the finale delivered in a lot of ways we couldn't help but think what could have been if the entire season had been as strong as these last few episodes. With our group of survivors finally forced to move on and seemingly at their wits end, both Brian and myself find ourselves optimistic about what season 3 may hold as we go into our downtime until next Fall when the chaos and undead begin to roam the Earth once again. So until then, stay true and stay alive so that we can come together once again and share some thoughts on one of the best shows on television. We are now only one episode away from the season finale and things are really starting to make a turn for the worst for our wayward survivors. With Shane continuing down his dark path, Rick coming to grips with who he is and who he needs to be, Lori trying to find a way to communicate with Shane and everyone dealing with their recent loss it is some difficult times for everyone. Our fears of what this show was becoming has since faded as we begin to fall back in love with the greatest zombie epic of all time. Wow! What a great episode we got this week. As our group of wayward survivors start to come apart at the seams we start to see some true colors come out for all the characters. Brian and myself both loved much of what this episode had to offer but by far the most encouraging thing we have witnessed from this show all season is that shocker of an ending that had even me caught off guard. With only two episodes left to go we find ourselves almost excited once again for how things will turn out by the end of this very uneven season. Even though we didn't have a whole lot to say this week at least you can take comfort in the fact that we didn't really have anything negative to say for this latest episode of The Walking Dead. Things continue to get better for us as things continue to get worse for our characters and this new episode is a great reminder that this is still with zombies in it and that they are still a force to be reckoned with. Brian and myself find ourselves overjoyed with where these final episodes are leading and hope that it is able to end on a high note after the more lackluster beginning of the season. We are back! Unfortunately we are a week late but that doesn't change a thing as this week we have a double header with both the mid-season premiere from last week and the latest episode from this week. It's a good thing we ended up talking about both these episodes together because it helped curb our growing disdain for much of what this show has become over this past season. However, both Brian and myself find ourselves strangely optimistic after a rather shocking end to the premiere and a satisfying follow up in the next episode. Despite some rather blatant attempts at causing a crisis with the introduction to catatonic girl and Lori's mishap which were clearly devised to keep everyone on that farm even longer, we are find ourselves overjoyed by most of these latest events and crying out, "Hooray! The mid-season finale for The Walking Dead is upon us and SOPHIA WATCH 2011 comes to a close as we wrap up this first part of the second season. Tempers are at an all time high for not just our group of survivors but for both Brian and myself as well. While this episode did finally wrap certain story arcs up we still can't help but feel that the show is losing its way. Featured music is from the soundtrack for "The Walking Dead" television show.

Guess what?...SOPHIA WATCH 2011 is still in progress with fewer and fewer people each week going out into those woods looking for the poor little girl. She is the least of this groups worries in this newest episode of The Walking Dead though since just as the title implies, many truths and discoveries are revealed and not everyone is happy about them. Dale gets more assertive, Glenn can't keep secrets, Andrea gets horny and Shane gets a whole lot more psycho. Featured music is from the soundtrack for "The Walking Dead" television show.

SOPHIA WATCH 2011 continues! Luckily there was plenty happening for us to talk about in this newest episode to keep us occupied while everyone continues the laborious search for the worlds most popular missing child. Lots of great character moments coupled with some interesting and horrifying revelations help make this what we believe to be the best episode so far this season. Join us for SOPHIA WATCH 2011! Where can Sophia be...is she just hiding in the woods somewhere? Perhaps she has been killed or worse, turned into a zombie herself? Maybe she is being held captive somewhere? Where ever she is though she had better show up soon because even though our small band of zombie survivors aren't ready to give up on her, we sure as hell are! Beyond that issue we discuss how great it is that Glenn finally got some well deserved screen time (and more!) and the really soggy zombie we find taking a bath, "We got a floater here!".
