As a body of believers in America, we must consider what real oppression and persecution of the church look like. We should be thankful that we still have the freedoms that we have as far as religion and freedom of speech. We have brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world who are actually being persecuted and oppressed for their beliefs in Christ Jesus. We have an opportunity to be salt and light in a dark time during this pandemic. We will miss multiple opportunities to bless others if we are screaming oppression and persecution instead of helping others. A scattered church is STILL the church!
