Shifting from Podcast to Pause-cast
As Brene Brown calls it, we're switching to a pause-cast instead of a podcast. And focusing on bringing you a daily email to nurture you every morning. What that means is episodes will drop as we’re inspired. After taking a two-month pause in November and December I realized how inspired I felt giving space to thoughts and topics. How more insightful our content became when it could breathe. Right now our cadence forces us to work on strict deadlines and like our job is cranking things out. That’s not the energy we want to bring you at TGS. We want to be that space that nurtures you, that encourages you to give space to the spiritual and creative aspects of your soul, let your own musings and inspiration breathe.Creative, still energy is the most powerful there is. If there's only one email you sign up for this month sign up for ours now. Its purpose is to nurture and ground you every morning. You'll also get first access to new blog posts and episodes as they drop. You won't regret it. How to Create a Personal Energy Shield for Protection
Things are getting pretty busy in The Good Space so in the meantime, we are returning to one of my favorite solo episodes from 2020. We're going to talk about creating an energetic shield for protection from the influence of energy around you. If you're an empath, someone who is sensitive to the emotions of other people, or your environment, oftentimes you can feel like you’re taking in so much and either get overwhelmed, feel down, or constantly drained when you’re around people. We’re going to talk about how you can create a personal energy shield to protect where your energy goes and the kind you receive. Consider this the secret superpower you never knew you could have. A warm, bright light surrounds me everywhere I go energizing and supporting me and those I love.   DO THIS TODAY Make a list of where you may have leakages to your energy. Whether it’s a draining relationship or an addiction to your phone. Make the list and commit to releasing at least one thing from your life today. Questioning your intuition? Here's how to know if it's talking to you
Intuition is top of mind for a lot of people right now. After two years of working, sleeping, and living in the same space, there's a craving for boundaries. Today, I answer a question from one of our listeners who said she questions everything in life including her ability to hear intuition. I hope my answers will plant seeds for you. TLDR: the more time you spend understanding and being with your creative and intuitive self, the more you’ll know when it’s speaking to you versus your intellect.    RESOURCES AND LINKS: Buy: Order our productivity eBook  Download: Want a life-changing morning routine? Minisode 7: Taking ownership of what you want
I had an inspiring lunch with a friend, who’s in her mid-twenties where she shared her biggest goal and her mapped out a plan to achieve it. Which made me realize how sacred most people are of boldly owning what they want. A lot of that fear comes from self-doubt and caring about what other people think. Bye until 2022
As you know, I’m big on ebbing and flowing with your emotional seasons. As we near the end of the year, I’m in a season of having more space so new things may unfold. With that, I’ve decided to take a break from posting new episodes in November and December to honor that internal pull. There are also a few personal changes that influenced my decision that I explain more of in this episode. We plan to be back in 2022 and are excited to see what this period of rejuvenation will bring to me, my family, and my team at The Good Space. We’re still sending our weekly emails with writing prompts, affirmations, practical tips, and more so make sure to sign up.  Until the new year, please enjoy the episodes we’ve shared so far.
