Pisces New Moon
Vulnerability is a strength because it fosters TRUST with the deepest parts of Self. People with TRUST issues often eschew vulnerability. Start there, though. It works like this: lean into your vulnerability, listen to your intuition, follow its advice. LOVE yourself more. Grief exists to keep us still long enough so that we can remember our connection to Source. And this is a time and space of rich creativity. If you are feeling down on yourself, just remember that you are in the womb of creation and something new is gestating -- something you can't even imagine right now! Trust the mystery!Grief is an interesting thing, and many of us experience it without even realizing it. When we talk about grief, we think of it in terms of someone’s passing. But any kind of transition can bring about grief. A loss of a job, a loss of a relationship, a perceived loss of one’s dreams. And grief comes in waves, oftentimes unexpectedly. www.goddesstrology.com

Virgo Full Moon: Soul Work Is Meaning-Making
The upcoming Virgo Full Moon at 11* Virgo on March 1, 2018 MST The sun entered the sign of Pisces on February 18, and since then, we've swan dived into the deep sea of the imaginal. Pisces is the zodiac's most dreamy sign--idealistically romantic, poetic, the one you'll find wearing rose colored glasses while jotting hopeful quips and notes of affirmation in their art journal while feeling intoxicated on the feel-good vibes of possibility. Actively co-creating a reality by design requires this gift of Pisces. If you are actively manifesting with the moon, you know that co-creating anything requires the ability to feel deeply into your desires and envision the possibilities of what could be. Anything that is "real"-- any physical manifestation-- first swam in this vast ocean of creation... And the Virgo Moon anchors us firmly in the dream, and shows us how to discern what is practical and viable. It helps us focus on the actions which will churn a dream into a reality.Neptune: A Deep Dive Into the Imaginal is available on pre-order!

Goddesstrology of Aquarius Solar Eclipse
The Aquarius New Moon and Partial Solar Eclipse happens on February 15 (16th for some, check your locality). The Leo/Aquarius eclipse season is underway, has been since early 2017, actually, and now we are looking at the Aquarius New Moon and Partial Solar Eclipse. This eclipse is asking us to release what no longer serves us, and with the contacts made by the new moon to Mercury (communication) and Juno (Queen of Feminine Arts/ Marriage/ Partnerships), there is a lot of negotiation happening -- if I let go of XXXX can I keep XXXX? What do I get when I do this? With the new moon, Mercury and Juno squaring her husband, Jupiter in Scorpio, there is a magnified sense that the change needed is deeply ingrained, buried deep within the psyche and the fight to let go is only just beginning. Fortunately, curious Mercury is able to go into the dark crevices and the deeper nooks and crannies to retrieve what was lost, what was stolen or...in this case, what is taking up too much space and must be excavated before we can fully claim our brilliance. And since Mercury is making supportive contact with Uranus, the task at hand will be handled brilliantly, with swiftness of action and insight. We see the problem that holds us back is found within the aspect between the South Node squaring Pallas Athena, in that we are being asked to move out of our fears and ground the changes in the name of PROGRESS. This new moon is asking us to make changes, but the inner dialogue is stuck on asking, What's in it for me? Well, what's in it for you is found on the North Node of Destiny, where Ceres, the Great Mother Goddess is transiting and in her retrograde transit, is showing us that when we honor our creative self-expression and let go of who we ARE NOT, we become MORE of who we intended to be. is connecting us to our brilliant insight needed to evolve on a conscious level.

The Asteroid Goddesses: Ceres
The Asteroid Goddesses, Part 1: CeresThis is the first in a series on the astrological meaning of the Asteroid Goddesses. Up until the 1970s, the only representation of feminine expression in astrology was limited to the Moon (as Mother) and Venus (as Lover). With the advent of Edith Bach's Asteroid Emphemeris (published in 1972 at the advent of the Women's Lib movement), astrologers have been experimenting with the Four Main Asteroid Goddesses in chart erection. These Goddesses are: Ceres, Pallas Athena, Vesta and Juno. They broaden the channels in feminine expression and give us all, regardless of gender, a better perspective on how to work with these energies in our everyday lives. Learn the mythology, the archetypal psychology and the astrology of each Goddess and learn how you can decode the messages they have for you by finding them in your birth chart.

Transitional Goddesses: A Conversation on Navigating Change with Death MidWife, Cris Ashburn
In this episode of The Goddesstrology Podcast, I am chatting about the Dark Goddess and the Season of Change with Cris Ashburn of Midwifery for the Soul. As a Certified Death Midwife, Cris has a thing or two to say about how to navigate through life's transitions and how the archetype of the Dark Goddess guides us to our initiations. As if this weren't exciting enought...we also chat about the upcoming lunar eclipse! Happening at 11* Leo, the sign of self-expression, the lunar eclipse conicides with the earth-based seasonal holiday, Imbolc, which symbolises the new spark of life within. This is the time of year that old becomes new again, when we come out of hibernation and the first stirrings of life are detected beneath the surface....And with the Lunar Eclipse happening on the North Node, and conjunct the Asteroid Goddess of Cycles and Seasons, Ceres, we discover that self-care is the way forward. We are invited to reclaim our projections and deal with our fears of being seen. We see that TRUSTing in the creative process (and not hovering over it, suffocating it...) will help our passions flourish as we continue to evolve and grow into our most authentic expression of self.

Ambition Is NOT a Dirty Word
This week starts out with an overly ambitious feeling... Normally this would feel punishing, but we are getting a nod of encouragement from Jupiter, the King of Optimism. All planets are in direct motion, so making plans and getting clarity around issues is easier this week. There seems a lot of work to do, and the energy to match! New Moon in Capricorn, stellium SIX planets making its way through this sign this week, concentration is on #werkwerkwerk... We start the week with six planets in the sign of Capricorn and that empowering Jupiter Pluto sextile perfecting on Monday (and lasting all week long) encourages us to get our work done early-- because by Friday, reality loses its grip a bit and we will be wading into the watery realms of the Psyche. SO Get your work done early then break out your tarot, your runes, your oracle...and dive into the waters of sensitivity to the other realms will be on high and this is a weekend of big magic and bold imagination. Dream work, spell casting, intuition and psychic development are where its at!

If It Matters, It Materializes: Forecast for Week of Jan 8, 2018
We begin this week with the moon in Venus-ruled Libra, and we continue to work with strong Capricorn energy --as there is a stellium of Venus, Saturn, Sun and Mercury joining mid week...in the sign of ambition. Venus is our focus this week! Venus, the Goddess of Love, Beauty, Money and Femininity, activates our awareness around ALL these issues this week. Though we won't be able to see her in the sky for a few weeks because she is too close to the Sun to be seen, making a superior conjunction to the sun. What this means is that Venus is passing the by the outer side of the sun -- collecting energy from the farthest reaches of the Universe -- Venus behind the veil-- that is the sun is between venus and earth-- opposite side of the sun, This occurs once in every synodic cycle (584 days), and marks the transition of Venus as morning star to evening star. Venus will emerge as the Evening Star on Feb 15, 2018.
