He started with the Guitar, eventually playing in a Heavy Metal band. This progressed through to playing Bass Guitar, Drums and some Piano as well.He was introduced to the Electronic Music world in Brisbane clubs, and in 2008 began the long road of Electronic production. On a complete solo mission, he began to produce his own tunes. His influences are a gathering of lots of kinds of music, including influence drawn from Heavy Metal, the crisp nature of Psy-Trance, the beaming melodies of Trance from the 00`s, and Progressive House.Drawing on these influences, Fiction's productions and mixes always combine a diverse spectrum of musical styles, from moody sunrise progressive house to techno and melodic techno. Always trying to draw from many genres results in a finished product that is always vastly different to the last.  His philosophy is that music isn't supposed to be heard, it is supposed to be felt and he achieves this with Haunting melodies, driving bass-lines and sometimes eerie soundscapes reminiscent of soundtracks for film. His productions are built on a deep sense of musicality and emotion, always aiming to set its place and purpose in the world.
