episode on 2:17 unfortunately it is one of those 2:18 parenting things of just scheduling we 2:20 weren't just able to tie down for this 2:22 episode so hopefully you guys understand 2:25 and still enjoy the content we bring to 2:27 you 2:28 so what i'm gonna do is reach back into 2:30 the past a little bit and of course give 2:33 you a little bit of the solo action if 2:35 you will 2:36 if you remember some of the old episodes 2:38 from way back when 2:40 this is what i used to do on my own this 2:42 is why it was so frustrating for 2:44 a couple of those minisodes uh that 2:46 we've done but again we want to make 2:48 sure we bring you some type of content 2:50 some 2:51 information something to help you get 2:53 through the day get through the 2:55 parenting woes 2:57 or highs 2:58 whichever it may be for you hopefully 3:00 you you get through it in one piece and 3:02 everybody else along with you 3:04 but guys thank you very much a few 3:06 things really that i'm just gonna do on 3:08 this episode here 3:10 is first and foremost as any parent will 3:13 go through 3:15 another cycle of the sun for my oldest 3:19 as you know of logan who i you know sour 3:22 patch 3:23 my 3:24 one of my prides and joy i should say 3:26 he's 3:27 we don't play favorites in the in this 3:29 household for sure but my oldest logan 3:32 has his eighth birthday uh on the day 3:34 you'll be hearing this episode 3:36 so if you know him see him or want to 3:39 relay anything to him through myself 3:41 feel free to i wish him a happy happy 3:44 birthday he's a great kid we are so 3:46 fortunate to have him talk about being 3:49 just 3:50 lucky as your first child and yes you 3:54 know we we've been through it's a roller 3:56 coaster no matter what type of child you 3:58 have but we've been very very fortunate 4:00 for the type of child he is he has a for 4:03 an eight-year-old good head on his 4:05 shoulders 4:06 smart 4:07 a little bit almost too witty for his 4:09 own good but 4:10 what can i say they always say he comes 4:12 back seven times fold to the parent or 4:15 for whatever you were doing so i can't 4:16 really say much about that but guys 4:19 happy birthday to my boy logan 4:21 thankful that you're still here thankful 4:23 that we have so many more years to go as 4:25 well 4:26 and then the second thing that i i'm 4:29 sure 4:30 a lot of you may be doing not everybody 4:32 but 4:33 we want to be sure that the proper shout 4:36 out is given to all the mothers for this 4:38 weekend that's right it is mother's day 4:40 on sunday the that should be the 8th of 4:44 may 4:45 so guys remember whether it's a friend 4:47 your own mother 4:49 what your partner whatever it may be 4:51 remember there are so many great mothers 4:53 out there if it wasn't for the mothers 4:55 we wouldn't have the kids that we have 4:57 today 4:58 and there are so many great ones out 5:00 there and especially the ones that also 5:02 are running this game solo 5:05 for the way 5:06 they do it on their own so 5:09 strength to you 5:10 props to you we got your back 5:13 all this other mess that's going on what 5:14 can i say there's you know about the 5:16 politics guys so i don't even have to 5:18 say it if you're in the know you're in 5:20 the know and you know that 5:22 there are so many great choices that 5:23 were made to be able to celebrate 5:25 something like mother's day regardless 5:27 of being a hallmark holiday but that's a 5:29 different story 5:31 there's great people out there guys so 5:32 be sure you celebrate it the right way 5:35 everybody's different but 5:37 the the 5:38 the love is still there plenty of the 5:40 love 5:42 and what else can i say i mean 5:44 i don't really want to go on a heavy 5:46 diet tribe of things i believe kyle for 5:48 his episode uh once we get it up and 5:51 loaded is going to be 5:53 doing a great review of something that 5:55 will give some great 5:58 parenting 5:59 viewpoints 6:01 if you will from i wouldn't say 6:03 necessarily an unconventional source but 6:05 it's not coming from your usual standard 6:07 of 6:08 things of what you would think about 6:09 parenting but it's something him and i 6:10 have talked about before and he 6:12 definitely wanted to go ahead and lay 6:13 that out at this point he's a little 6:15 i it's from a show i mean not no 6:17 spoilers or anything because i want to 6:18 make sure he gets everything he has put 6:20 out to him and hopefully he still does 6:22 this if he sends me something else i 6:23 apologize 6:25 but guys he has a great way to that he's 6:27 wanted to talk about this and 6:29 it's even really fitting for 6:31 the mother day mother's day weekend 6:34 as well because it definitely involves a 6:37 a very very strong 6:39 character of a mother 6:40 uh and a father as well but the 6:43 again we're going with the holiday right 6:44 now talk so guys 6:47 hopefully everybody is taking care of 6:48 each other we really do appreciate 6:50 everything 6:51 i'm 6:52 even gonna leave it at that really here 6:54 i again i 6:56 i have so much trouble just running by 6:58 myself here 7:00 it's been a great week leading up to 7:03 a birthday 7:04 to a fun weekend i'm actually taking my 7:07 lovely wife up to new jersey this 7:09 weekend we're gonna go see the uh the 7:12 view of skew family with kevin smith 7:14 brian o'halloran um marilyn giallante if 7:18 i say that correctly i always feel bad 7:20 because i always feel like i'm gonna say 7:21 it wrong and i probably do 7:22 uh but the whole clerk's crew jeff 7:24 anderson everybody jmu's of course 7:28 we're gonna go up to jersey have some 7:29 fun there see some um not only the 7:32 the people from vue sku but also some 7:34 personal friends as well i and gonna get 7:37 a lovely trip away from the kids as for 7:40 my mother she gets a little bit extra 7:41 time with her grandkids and 7:44 i will make that up to her later because 7:46 i'm sure she'll be exhausted by the end 7:47 of the week and by the time we picked 7:49 him up sunday at one point 7:51 uh 7:52 and guys i mean that's that's really it 7:54 and there's heavy stuff going on but 7:56 remember to try to stay in the positive 7:59 keep the good times going as as 8:01 well as you can 8:03 like i said politically uh and a few 8:06 other things going on 8:07 there's a heavy burden and a lot going 8:10 on that we have to continue to 8:13 rally against 8:14 if you will uh 8:16 because again even though i'm just some 8:18 random schlub with a buddy of mine who 8:20 does this podcast 8:22 we still stand with so many of you on so 8:25 many views and things that 8:27 may not affect us or do not affect us 8:30 directly but we still give all the 8:32 support we can and all the love that we 8:34 can for this guys so just keep that in 8:36 mind 8:36 uh there are a lot happening uh we still 8:39 try to stay positive of course but 8:41 in order to stay positive unfortunately 8:43 we have to swing into the opposite of 8:45 that and be sure that we at least talk 8:47 about it we know that it's there 8:49 acknowledge the presence and what we 8:51 have to do to 8:53 be against it to to push it any 8:56 negativity outside of our lives as best 8:58 as we can guys so i'm giving you a super 9:01 short one here i just want to say 9:02 there's 9:03 love to all you guys i wish there was 9:05 more 9:06 i i just don't have a lot right now i 9:09 things are going great 9:11 uh 9:12 any of the big topics i i would rather 9:14 have my co-host with me 9:16 because it'll be easier to talk about 9:18 it's 9:19 me just rambling on and i've even gone 9:21 longer than kind of i was originally 9:23 thinking i was gonna do for this but you 9:24 know how i do that you know i'll say i'm 9:26 cutting it short
