This week Darth Taxus guest hosts as we attempt to predict how some of the summer movies will fare on Rotten Tomatoes. Will Wonder Woman break the DC losing streak?  Will Transformers: The Last Knight do worse?  How do you make a prediction for The Emoji Movie?  We try to figure it all out.  Also, GANNIN asks us to decide where our dogs would be sorted in Hogwarts.  We'll also try to gauge the level of interest in the new Disney Pandora Park and come up with our own fandom-theme park.  We'll discuss a new female Overwatch team and the interest in E-Sports.  And what did Harrison Ford mean when he said Han Solo is "resting"? All this, and John Phelan is back with another moment in geek history!

Everyone's back from Star Wars Celebration, and Scott and Jeff talk about their experience at the convention.  We also react to the little girl dressed as Jyn Erso who handed Death Star plans to every Leia cosplayer.  We consider life in space...both in fantasy and reality.  We share some of Mike Massimino's comments about living in space and consider a Star Wars hotel experience.  Matt Moore joins us to discuss Marvel Vice President David Gabriel's comments about diversity in comic books.  We'll also talk about our interest in the Bill and Batman documentary and the five post-credit scenes in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

This week, Tony Kim joins us to discuss the Wonder Woman panel at WonderCon and some of the feedback surrounding his new Wonder Woman jacket.  We'll also react to the news surrounding a Batgirl film and talk about the trailer for the new IT movie. We'll also look at the amusing match-ups that are featured in video game character wrestling matches.  GANNIN tries out some jokes and a new superhero game.  Matt Moore guests hosts this week.

This week, Dr. Anthony Bean (Dr. Geek) joins us to talk about the psychology of a geek and gamer.  We'll share our reactions to the new Justice League trailer, as well as Brett Ratner's comments about Rotten Tomatoes destroying the film industry.

It's time to fill out the brackets, and this year we infused them with Star Wars characters.  Caitlin and Charlotte (Skytalkers) join us to pick the winners.  We'll also react to news about a Matrix reboot and a Coming to America sequel.  We'll discuss whether or not a DC/Power Rangers movie crossover is a good idea. Regina has watched the first eight episodes of Iron Fist, and she shares her thoughts on the series.

This week, we officially welcome Regina Davis as the new co-host and invite her Comic Book Noob counterpart to join our discussion about Logan.  We'll not only review the movie, but also discuss whether or not there's a cinematic lesson to be learned in Logan.  Should it be the new superhero standard?  Is that even a fair question?  We'll discuss it all.  Also this week, we'll react to the new Wonder Woman trailer and the news about Jason Issacs joining Star Trek Discovery. We'll also decide whether or not to be worried about the early reviews for the Iron Fist Netflix series.  Scott talks about his bowling team and unintentionally makes everyone laugh.  Regina gets to play her first rounds of Trigger Words. 

This is Looney Tunes!  This week we discuss the upcoming DC Comics/Looney Toones crossover and come up with a couple ideas of our own.  However, not everything is silly in the word of DC.  We also react to Tina Guo's metal version of the Wonder Woman theme. And how about that Deadpool teaser?  We'll share our thoughts on it.  In television news, we discuss the casting announcements for the Big Bang Theory spin-off and the idea of digitizing Spock into the new Star Trek series.  We'll also decide whether or not we will go and see the 3-D re-release of Terminator 2 this summer.  All this, plus two challenging rounds of Pick a Number and It's All Connected

Also in this episode, we talk about how the latest Marvel video games won't tie into the MCU.  We react to the news of a Nightwing movie and Patrick Stewart's X-Men announcement.  We'll also take time to remember Bill Paxton. Emily announces that she has to step away from the show.

All the geek directive hosts are back this week!  We kick things up by discussing several Star Wars toy topics, including The Last Jedi packaging, more 40th anniversary products and a new BB-8 toy that comes out on Force Friday.  We react to a report about a possible Big Bang Theory renewal and the upcoming debut of Cosplay Melee.    We'll discuss Angela Lansbury's Mary Poppins role.  Also this week, GANNIN talks about his new fandom.  Plus, we play two new wildcard games - Inside the Numbers and Blue Pill/Red Pill.

RRRRIP!  Off we go with another Geek Directive Episode!  This week, Scott's wife, Jenn guests hosts, and GANNIN tries to get information out of her.  We react to the news of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 getting a 100 percent score on its test screening.  Also, we decide whether or not we want a Firefly reboot after Fox announced it was open to the idea.  In other sci-fi news, we take time to remember Richard Hatch of Battlestar Galactica.  We'll also discuss the grades given to the current state of sci-fi franchises.  After Bruce Springsteen's Harry Potter song, temporarily leaked online, GANNIN asks us about some of our favorite movie songs of the past.  He also enjoys telling us that Star Wars: A New Hope is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and we learn about some of the special merchandise that will get released.  We also look back on some of those crazy classic superhero Valentine's Day cards.

We pitch our storylines for a Serenity sequel.  Darth Taxus' co-host Dennis Keithly joins us for a round of Star Wars trivia.  We also discuss some of the music featured in The Lego Batman Movie Soundtrack.  We'll also share our thoughts on the premiere of Powerless, and check out other people's reviews of Rings.  We react to the news about a new Rocket Raccoon comic book series and Teri Hatcher's upcoming appearance in Supergirl.  

This week, Scott interviews Ron Funches about his role in the new NBC series - Powerless.  We'll also discuss the new title for Star Wars Episode VIII.  We were saddened to learn about John Hurt passing away, and we talk about some of the of his most popular roles.  Also, we'll react to news about a new X-Men series and Bryan Singer's connection to the show.

With the success of so many others, we discuss whether or not Disney should consider their own shared universe.   We'll also talk about some of the latest Star Wars news, including the Grand Admiral Thrawn book synopsis and the Carrie Fisher Event at Star Wars Celebration Orlando.  We'll share reactions to reports that James Cameron wants to take the Terminator franchise back and David Ayer's comments about The Joker in Suicide Squad.  Also this week, we'll talk about the new Logan trailer and how it may or may not fit into the X-Men Universe.  GANNIN tests our Smallville episode knowledge and makes us tell a very bizarre Indiana Jones story.

She also plays a round of "It's All Connected" with us.  Jeff and Matt Moore (Comic Book Noob) debate Star Wars droids in a new segment called TRAITOR. We discuss the latest Star Wars news relating to Episode IX and the Han Solo spin-off movie. 

In the first episode of THE GEEK DIRECTIVE, we discuss whether or not Princess Leia should become an official Disney Princess.  We'll also discuss the new Disney Streaming Box and the prospects for a Obi-Wan Kenobi movie.
