Episode 12 Are Gyms Safe during Covid-19?
We are back and we are on a mission.  In this episode Jay and Matt dive deep, well as deep as the pool is on the current literature and research that looks at gyms and their ability to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic.  We look at some key research from NSW, America, the UK, Singapore and Norway which both supports and refutes our thoughts.  We brake down the good, bad and ugly and try to shed some light on what the data and findings actually mean.  In short... Are gyms safe? Well it depends. Can gyms be safe? Absolutely.  Will i catch COVID if i go to the gym? highly unlikely like .00026% unlikely? Can training and being physically active reduce the impacts of COVID? Absolutely.  Gyms are not the problem they are part of the solution.  We need to improve our attitude to health and wellbeing across society, we need to educate ourselves more on the power of being physically active and seeking preventative actions. We need to take responsibility for our individual health.  We hope you have enjoyed this passionate episode. please feel free to share it far and wide with anyone in the health and fitness industry References.
