Coronavirus and Liverpool's meltdown
There's pretty much only two things being talked about in England at the minute. One of those is Coronavirus, and the other is Liverpool's sudden lust for throwing away football matches. And in great news for FC90 listeners, both subjects are tackled in this week's podcast - a shorter and special edition, hosted by James Jones and featuring Christy Malyan and Matt Dawson. The Reds somehow managed to lose to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night despite creating an almost obscene amount of scoring chances, while the Anfield visitors held on before spectacularly striking twice in extra time. And the season could get that little bit more disappointing for the Premier League's champions in waiting because of what has been now officially labelled a global pandemic. Indeed, Coronavirus could well see the Premier League season postponed or continued behind closed doors - and neither are great news for a club that is looking to win their first title in 30 years. Christy, James and Matt share their thoughts throughout this week's episode - if you like what you hear, don't forget to rate, review and subscribe on all of your favourite podcast platforms.

England, Shoats & Millennium Bug
Welcome back to another episode of the FC90 Podcast! And this episode rather bizarrely starts with a discussion of Christy Malyan's latest fashion innovation. It combines the smartness of a shirt with the warmth of a coat - it's, of course, the shoat! But the main topic of discussion for Episode 28 is in fact the England national team, as regular host James Jones, Christy, Jack Saville and Matt Dawson look ahead to the Three Lions' friendlies at the end of this month, Euro 2020 and next season's Nations League tournament. And that segment ends with each member of the FC90 crew revealing what their England starting XI would be for the Europe-wide competition this summer. Christy's Corner, meanwhile, focuses on home remedies as Britain remains gripped in Coronavirus fear - could one of the boys have a few tips to save you from the virus' flu-like symptoms? And remember, if you like this week's episode then don't forget to subscribe, rate and review on all of your favourite podcast platforms!

A Good Team Will Go Down & Pointless Laws
Welcome back to the FC 90 Podcast, which this week takes a deeper look at the Premier League relegation battle. And one thing is already crystal clear: With the likes of Watford, Bournemouth, West Ham, Brighton and Aston Villa all in the mix to go down, a "good team" will be relegated. Of course, the correct definition of a "good team" remains open to interpretation. Are we merely mistaking entertainment for good football, or is the Premier League on course to lose a genuinely elite club? Host James Jones as well as regulars Jack Saville, Christy Malyan and George Dagless all give their verdicts on who'll fail to beat the drop this season. George then gives the lowdown on all matters EFL, including an on-pitch argument between two Millwall players, while Christy's Corner features an incredibly unique quiz, testing the FC90 crew on some of football's lesser known laws. And this week's episode also features a brand new segment, as Jack delivers a roundup on all the best content being produced on Football FanCast. It's a jam-packed episode and if you enjoy it, don't forget to rate, review and subscribe on all of your favourite podcast platforms!

Man City's Champions League Ban, EFL Latest & They'll Never Make It
The FC90 Podcast is back with another episode jam-packed with pointless football opinions you never knew you wanted to hear. This week's episode, which sees James Jones return to the host's chair, starts off with an in-depth discussion of Manchester City's two-year Champions League ban for circumventing FFP. With James joined by Christy Malyan, Jack Saville and George Dagless, the FC90 crew debate the long-term consequences for City, whether FFP is actually working and if the Premier League champions actually have any chance of seeing the ban overturned. Football League World's George, meanwhile, gives us the rundown on all matters outside of the top flight, including Kiko Casilla's racism case and Barcelona's pursuit of Martin Braithwaite. And Christy's Corner involves two simple questions this week: which young footballer were you convinced would make it to the top but didn't, and which prospect did you think would never make it but ultimately proved you wrong? It's another corking episode so don't forget to download, rate and review on all of your favourite podcast platforms!

Tottenham under Mourinho, Pompey's Record and Football Heartbreaks
Welcome to the latest episode of the FC90 Podcast - with Valentine's Day around the corner, this one's a real cracker. Christy Malyan takes the host's chair this week in the absence of James Jones, and he grills Jack Saville, Danny Lewis and Football League World's George Dagless on all matters Spurs. Indeed, this episode's big subject is Tottenham under Mourinho, the key questions being whether he's actually taken the club forward, how he can solve their striker crisis and what success looks like for the Portuguese come the end of the campaign. George then takes us down the EFL pyramid, Charlton, Portsmouth and Grimsby being the clubs under the microscope, before a trip to Christy's Corner get's a little soppy as the FC90 crew reveal their biggest football heartbreaks. It's another cracking episode and if you like what you hear, don't forget to rate, review and subscribe on all of your favourite podcast platforms.

Winter Break, Window Watch & the Death of the League Cup
The FC90 podcast returns this week in the midst of the Premier League's first ever winter break. Following Jurgen Klopp's controversial decision to abstain from attending Liverpool's 4th round FA Cup replay against Shrewsbury, the winter break is placed under scrutiny. Regular host James Jones is joined by Football FanCast's Jack Saville and Matt Dawson, who are on hand to offer their dulcet tones, while EFL expert Chris Thorpe returns to the podcast to complete the lineup. The January transfer window is also on the agenda as the FC90 squad deliver their verdicts on the winners and losers following a Premier League spending spree which totalled £230m. Jack has the keys to Christy's Corner in the co-host's absence, and prompts the team to suggest alternative ideas for domestic cup competitions, with the FA Cup and League Cup seemingly enduring an identity crisis. Finally, the team discuss the emergence of Borussia Dortmund's Giovanni Reyna, who is making waves in the shadow of Erling Braut Haaland and has been dubbed the next Christian Pulisic. West Ham, January Transfers and Missed Deadlines
The FC90 Podcast is back for another episode and this one centres around a subject very close to the heart of host James Jones - West Ham. David Gold and Davd Sullivan bought the club ten years ago when they were 17th in the Premier League - fast forward a decade, and that's exactly where the Hammers are now following Wednesday night's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool. Christy Malyan, Jack Saville and fellow West Ham fan Danny Lewis help James dissect the many problems at the club, ranging from their scatter-gun recruitment to the sub-standard training facilities. Also on the agenda is the final days of the January transfer window, with Friday's 11pm deadline now looming large. The FC90 crew run the rule over some of the biggest stories and suggest a few transfer twists that could take place between now and the close of the window. Christy's Corner, meanwhile, poses a simple but transfer-related question: What is the costliest deadline that you've missed? Bournemouth's decline, Jude Bellingham & England strike conundrum
The FC90 Podcast is back for another dose of completely pointless football opinions that you never knew you needed. And this episode's big topic of conversation is the sudden decline of Bournemouth. A Premier League mainstay of the last five years or so, the Cherries look like they could sink back into the Championship this time around. We ask where it's all gone wrong for Bournemouth, whether Eddie Howe should or even could be relevied of his duties after taking them to the top flight from the depths of the Football League, and if the clubs fortunes can be revived in the January transfer window. Football League World's George Dagless, meanwhile, brings us the biggest news outside of the top flight, including Manchester United's interest in 16-year-old wonderkid Jude Bellingham. And Christy's Corner looks to resolve perhaps the biggest question facing Gareth Southgate right now: What does he do if Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford and Tammy Abraham are all only half-fit by the time Euro 2020 comes around? VAR, Johnson Out & Dating Premier League stars
It's a new year, a new decade and potentially a new era - but some things never change. Indeed, the FC90 Podcast is still here to deliver your weekly dose of audio-based football content and as ever, we're discussing the biggest issues in the Premier League right now. That, of course, is VAR, after Robert Snodgrass' late winner against Sheffield United was controversially ruled out for a Declan Rice handball in the warmup. So why has VAR proved so difficult for the Premier League and how can we make it better? Answering that near impossible question are host James Jones, Christy Malyan, Jack Saville and Louie Chandler. Louie also gives us a rundown on the biggest stories in the Football League, chiefly the growing angst towards Lee Johnson at Bristol City and the much-discussed future of Peterbrough's Marcus Maddison. And finally, Christy's Corner asks the most important queston of all - which Premier League star would you want to take you on a date? As always, if you enjoy the latest show don't forget to subscribe, rate and review on all of you favourite podcast platforms.

Arsenal, Everton, Europe & Team of the Decade
Welcome to the final FC90 Podcast of 2019! And what a year it has been. Rather than reflecting on what's been and gone though, this week's podcast crew are more concerned with the here and now - chiefly, the managerial situations at Arsenal and Everton. With Mikel Arteta and Carlo Ancelotti in the respective frames, we ask whether these impending managerial appointments have somehow ended up the wrong way round. And more pertinently, why are Engish football's biggest overcheivers - namely Sean Dyche, Chris Wilder and Daniel Farke - not involved in the discussion at all? Stand-in host Christy Malyan, Football League World duo George Dagless and Louie Chandler, and debutant James Bayliss from Digital Sport, also discuss the Champions League and Europa League draws, before George and Louie give the lowdown on all matters Football League. And finally, a trip to Christy's Corner results in everybody detailing their Premier League team of the decade with some very interesting results. Ancelotti to Everton, Bruce-Ball & Leeds March On
The FC90 Podcast is back for a 19th episode. With regular host James Jones on paternity leave and co-host Christy Malyan absent, FFC's Assistant Editor Jack Saville is at the wheel. Regular guest Matt Dawson is on hand to offer his dulcet tones, while there is a Marcus Rashford-esque debut from EFL expert Ned Holmes. Everton's hunt for a new manager is at the forefront of the agenda amid reports that 3-time Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti has held talks with the club. We also analyse Steve Bruce's impact at Newcastle and the merits of "Bruce-Ball", before Mr Holmes takes us slaloming down the EFL pyramid as Leeds United dare to dream of automatic promotion. Fatal Fortnight, Amazon Prime & Manchester Derby
Welcome back to The FC90 Podcast for this unique, bitesized episode! With so much football on our screens this week, the FC90 team have decided to keep things short and sweet, favouring quality over quantity. And where else to start but the wave of managers losing their jobs in the Premier League over the last few weeks, a phenomena Jack Saville has dubbed 'the fatal fortnight' with Marco Silva the latest victim after being sacked by Everton. Host James Jones, Christy Malyan and Matt Dawson also discuss Amazon Prime's first ever attempt at covering Premier League football, which took place earlier this week, and look ahead to a surprisingly under-the-radar Manchester Derby. Mourinho 2.0, PL Sack Race & Bushtucker Trials
The FC90 Podcast returns for a 17th episode this week in what can only be described as a managerial special. With Unai Emery, Marco Silva, Manuel Pellegrini and Quique Sanchez Flores all in the firing line, and a rebranded Jose Mourinho - otherwise known as the Humble One - returning to the Premier League with a devilish charm, there is plenty to unpick this week. Regular host James Jones is joined by Jack Saville, who has the keys to Christy's Corner, EFL expert George Dagless and regular guest Matt Dawson. After dissecting the PL sack race, we look at Mourinho's bright opening at Spurs before George takes us on our weekly slalom down the footballing pyramid. Christy's corner has been spruced up in his absence and, following the return of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Bushtucker trials are on the agenda. Finally, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back in the headlines and a scissor kick results in an unlikely red card... Pochettino/Mourinho switcheroo & Dyche, Pearson or Ant Middleton?
Welcome to episode 16 of The FC90 Podcast and this one is a whopper. James Jones, Christy Malyan, Jack Saville and Louie Chandler open the show by providing instant reaction to the news that Tottenham Hotspur have not only sacked Mauricio Pochettino, but also hired Jose Mourinho as his replacement. Needless to say, it has left opinions in the FC90 studio pretty divided, some believing the club have made a huge mistake and others declaring that Mourinho is, at the very least, a proven winnner. Football FanCast's Tottenham Correspondent Harry Sherlock is pulled in for a one-on-one chat with host James Jones, while Louie of Football League World gives his roundup on all matters outside of the Premier League. Christy's Corner, meanwhile, features an incredibly unique quiz - Whose Line Is It Anyway: Sean Dyche, Nigel Pearson or Ant Middleton? Hear the quote and then decide which Macho Man said it! It's a real bumper episode this one, so if you enjoy it don't forget to rate, review and subscribe on all your favourite podcast platforms.

Liverpool slip-ups, Spurs Exclusive and Canteen Boxing
The FC90 Podcast is back - and so is regular host James Jones! After three weeks of jury service he returns to the host's chair, meaning a slight demotion for Christy Malyan who returns to his usual sidekick duties. Joining them in the studio this time around is Football FanCast's very own Jack Saville and someone who has taken the Snack Media officies by storm in recent weeks - Soren Krinsky. And this week's episode starts off with an interesting question: why could Liverpool still miss out on the Premier League title? They're now nine points clear of Manchester City, so we're playing devil's advocate and trying to highlight potential weak links. James Jones, meanwhile, feels obliged to apologise to Frank Lampard, who he'd previously predicted to be out of the job by this point. Far from it, Chelsea are going from strength to strength and playing some truly fabulous results. Discussion then moves onto a [Footbal FanCast exclusive](https://www.footballfancast.com/premier-league/west-ham/west-ham-forced-to-rely-on-roberto-due-to-recruitment-strategy) - Harry Sherlock revealed earlier this week that Tottenham are eyeing Julian Nagelsmann as a potential replaceent for Mauricio Pochettino. And finally, we come onto the not-so-small matter of Christy's Corner, which is this week inspired by the two biggest fights in English sport - KSI vs Logan Paul and Raheem Sterling vs Joe Gomez. Each member of the FC90 Crew chooses two managers to go at it, equipped with one weapon you'd find inside a canteen (no knives!). Pellegrini Out, Liverpool vs City & The Apprentice
The FC90 Podcast is back! And while Christy Malyan remains in the host's chair for one more week, there are some changes to the rest of the crew for this week's episode. With West Ham's recent plight, losing five of their last seven, being put under the microscope, Football FanCast's new West Ham writer Danny Lewis gives a fan's insight into whether it's time to give Manuel Pellegrini the boot. Jack Saville then delivers his verdict on Manchester City's chances against Liverpool this Sunday, in a clash that could well decide who ends up with this season's Premier League title. And Football League World's Chris Thorpe takes us slaloming down the pyramid of English football, detailing us with all goings on in the Championship, League One and League Two. Which just leaves the not-so-small matter of Christy's Corner, this week paying homage to famous BBC show The Apprentice. The crew deliver their ingenious ideas for Alan Sugar, ranging from Danny's Dodgems to Try Before You Buy football boots. Captaincy is Dead, Southampton Slaughter and Worst Summer Signings
Welcome to what is - spookily enough - episode 13 of The FC90 Podcast, which is being launched on Halloween. And what better place to start than the horrifying captaincy situation at Arsenal. Granit Xhaka burst into a tirade of expletives after being booed by his own fans against Crystal Palace, leaving this week's FC90 team - which includes Football FanCast writer and Gunners fan Matt Dawson - to question whether he should retain the armband, and whether the age of the traditional no-nonsense skippers of genuine leadership is well and truly dead. Stand-in host Christy Malyan, joined by his right-hand man Jack Saville, also asks whether Ralph Hasenhuttl is lucky to still be in the job after Southampton's staggering 9-0 loss to Leicester City, and what that result says about the current state of the Premier League. Football League World's George Dagless, meanwhile, takes us slaloming down the pyramid of English football to give us all goings on in the EFL. And the short trip to Christy's Corner, this week featuring Jacks Jacuzzi, creates a debate over the best signings and the worst signings in the Premier League so far this season. Ballon d'Or, Arsenal and The Lizard People
Welcome back to The FC90 Podcast which has one glaring omission this week - regular host James Jones is nowhere to be seen, meaning Christy Malyan temporarily returns to the hotseat. That doesn't mean there won't be any Christy's Corner this week though. Having discovered, in conjunction with Football FanCast's Assistant Editor Jack Saville, that a super-race of Lizard people are controlling the British media, UEFA and other major organisations to create an agenda against Manchester City, this week's hot topic is conspiracy theories. Onto more football-based matters, the Ballon d'Or shortlist which includes such illustrious talents as Huglo Lloris is put under the microscope, as well as Arsenal after their painfully predictable defeat to Sheffield United. Speaking of the Blades, The FC90 Podcast team - which also includes FFC's Matt Dawson and Football League World's George Dagless - consider which promoted team has made the biggest impace in the Premier League this term and who will finish highest. Racism, Mark Bowen & Christy's Quiz!
The latest episode of The FC90 Podcast is here, and the full squad is back together again! Christy Malyan has returned from his brief hiatus to reclaim the much-discussed Christy's Corner, and with the Premier League returning as well, he felt it fitting to test the knowledge of this week's guests and see who has been paying the most attention to the English top flight this season. But before regular host James Jones, Football League World's George Dagless and Football FanCast's Jack Saville find themselves answering all kinds of questions on the Premier League, the more serious matter of racism in football must be tackled first. The FC90 Podcast crew all give their verdicts on the shocking scenes in Bulgaria and what UEFA must do next, with no punches pulled. Mauricio Pochettino and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are then put under the microscope ahead of a weekend which could well end in both of them being sacked, while FLW's editor in chief Sam Rourke joins the gang for a brief overview of the incredibly bizarre situation at Reading, which has seen Mark Bowen appoint himself as manager. PL sack race, footballing brothers & the Return of Dirk Kuyt
The FC90 Podcast returns for a very special landmark episode. Not only is this the 10th instalment of our ravamped podcast, it's the first week in which James Jones' strategic partner, Christy Malyan, has been absent since the podcast's inception. Christy's Corner has been given a spring clean, with Football FanCast's Assistant Editor, Jack Saville, giving the place a much-needed spruce up. James and Jack are joined by Football League World's Assistant Editor, George Dagless, while FFC's Leeds correspondent, Matt Dawson, is back for another episode. The Premier League sack race sits at the top of the agenda this week, with Marco Silva at the heart of the discussion. Mauricio Pochettino and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer play supporting role and, naturally, Steve Bruce gets an honourable mention. Ethical problems potentially emerging from England's decision to call-up Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori form a large part of our international discussion. George takes us through an intriguing EFL roundup, one that includes Roy Keane, Jack Ross and an unlikely trio of Dennis Bergkamp, Henrik Larsson and Dirk Kuyt. Christy's corner takes inspiration from the insatiable Longstaff brothers and so does James' stat question, which he almost, *almost * forgets to provide an answer to.
