Logan's Run is a 1976 sci-fi film whose special effects do look quite dated in the 21st century. In the film the main character, Logan, chases down runners who are about to turn 30 and enter the carousel as their time in this utopian society has ended. When his time runs out, he also chooses to run.The Adjustment Bureau features the story of David Norris, who is running for the Senate and meets Elise (Emily Blunt) throughout his life, though they are not meant to be together. Sixteen Candles is the John Hughes-directed classic starring Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall from 1984 and displays plenty of awkwardness of the pubescent lives of 1980's teens. Sixteen Candles is one of Mike's favorite movies. Garden State was written and directed by its star Zach Braff and co-stars Natalie Portman and Peter Sarsgaard. This film takes place in 2004 New Jersey and shows the mental puberty that is the 20s. Garden State is one of Brett's favorite movies.
