So what sort of people volunteer to climb 38 flights of stairs to raise awareness for lung-disease at the Fight for Air Climb? On Saturday, February 2, 2019, everyday people will be partnering together with the American Lung Association to raise awareness for how we make Kentucky a better place to breathe. The Fight for Air Climb, a fundraising event held in skyscrapers all over the nation, challenges teams of passionate participants to show their support for those suffering from lung disease by climbing 38 flights of stairs.    In this final episode of the Fight for Air Podcast, everyday extraordinary people share why they’re participating in the Fight for Air Climb February 2nd.  From those who’ve lost loved ones to lung disease to others who have undergone transplants themselves, these climber’s testimonies will share what keeps them motivated in the battle against lung disease and leave you asking how you too can get involved.   Join us for practice every Saturday morning at 9am, at the Hyatt Hotel on 4th Street. Part 3: Crossfit, Community, and the Climb
What does a Crossfit workout have in common with the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb? In addition to investing in people’s healthy lifestyles, both are made up by highly supportive individuals who know how to get loud and cheer on their team!     On Saturday, February 2, 2019, everyday people will be partnering together with the American Lung Association to raise awareness for how we make Kentucky a better place to breathe.
