Welcome back!  After a strep throat and car crash induced hiatus, Rob is back with an episode that makes up for lost time.  Today we sit down with Marc Waszkiewicz and Lea Jones from the website Vietnaminnerview.com , memoir 1000 Yard Stare, the album Selector Switch on Rock n Roll (or War Speak depending on where you find it) to talk about the Vietnam war, its cultural, societal, and life impacts. We play "No One Knows" from Marc and Lea's album, and Rob runs his mouth (for a very short amount of time thankfully).

Since Rob's back from Afghanistan, it's only fitting that we go back to where it all started....Dawsangeles baby!  Rob and Mike Dawson sit down again at Dawsangeles studios to talk about Mike's new podcast on Podcast 1, "Front of House," reminisce on some fond memories, talk about current events, music, and even solve the eternal question of "which was first, the chicken or the egg?"   Mike plays a song by Jonathan McEuen, and the guys have about as much fun as you can have in an hour.  Enjoy!

As a man who grew up under the diagnosis of ADHD and it's subsequent drug prescriptions, this episode is a pretty important one for Rob.  Today we sit down with Dr. Craig Wiener, author of Author of "Parenting Your Child with ADHD: A No-Nonsense Guide for Nurturing Self-Reliance and Cooperation" and Assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Wiener talks with Rob about the reaons he believes ADHD is a psychological manifestation, not biological, and what that means for parents who don't want to simply throw drugs at their child.  Dr. Wiener goes into ways a parent can use his book and methods to treat ADHD without drugs, and how this method can even be used in children without ADHD to help them socialize properly. Could you sit down and write a list....or book about ten things that you as a man (or woman) are doing well?  Nick Theophilou has, and it's called "Ten Stories about things Men are Doing Well," and he was kind enough to sit down with Rob to talk about his book and what he thinks men are doing well. Nick has been a counselor and has been in mens groups for over 20 years, has a documentary titled "Sons of the Father: Inside a Men's Group" and has been writing on men's topics in Australia for some time now.  He and Rob cover just about everything they possibly could about men, anger, loss, relationships, and fatherhood. Rob's been talking about this for a few weeks, so today we finally have the episode about Obamacare, Healthcare in America and the money & politics that drive it. Rob sits down today with Dr. Mark Davis, 30 year phyisican, healthcare administrator and author of the books "Obamacare: Dead on Arrival, A Prescription for Disaster," "Demonizing Democracy" and "The Millenium Diet." Rob and Dr. Davis talk about Obamacare, why it's a prescription for disaster, the effect of money in healthcare, the effect of politics in healthcare, and how a beauracracy and its lawyers will only lead to disaster. With all that's going on in the world today, it's time to do a little investigation and explanation of the difference between money, currency, and how they're both tied into politics.   Rob goes into an in-depth explanation of the difference between money and currency, the value of gold and silver, how they're tied in to money and where they all get their value from (and why that's a very scary proposition these days).  He also ties in how they're related to politics, and again, why that's such a scary idea, in the case that the government can devalue or straight up steal your money (it's been done before). Staying on the same thread, we hear snips of a 60minutes episode that recently aired on the fact that many members of the US Congress have been using their Political Action Campaign (PAC) accounts as both their own piggy banks and new sources for them to make more personal money, and how that ties into our money and money system. Mike Rivera (WhatReallyHappened.com) joins Rob to talk about some shady dealings in the financial sector, namely to explain why, despite record high unemployment and low consumer confidence, the stock market has been hitting record highs.  Mike explains a lot of the background into how this happened, what's going on with the artificial devalueing of gold, and where we're headed.

Dawson is back from being on the road and working on his mini projects, so he and Rob finally sit down to do an in-depth interview with Dawson.  Most people know him from the Carolla show, but we get into his vast experience in music and entertainment, ranging from working a major concert venue at 15 and hustling BB Kings drummer, his experience with Alan Parsons, producing music, podcasts, how he got on the Adam Carolla Show and being a radio DJ.
