What's the MATTER: Mental Health with Susan Tellone
To kick off 2021, The Dreamcatchers were honored to sit down with the Clinical Director at The Society for Prevention of Teen Suicide, Susan Tellone. This beautiful, important, and incredible conversation was recorded 20 years to the day that Marissa's beloved & well-renowned father-in-law lost his battle to depression shortly after retiring from his remarkable career in Pharmacy & Hospital Administration. Things were very different in the world of mental health back in 2001 & people like Susan have brought light to the surface for so many who are living in the dark. People are collectively suffering right now as a culture, us included. We can NOT ignore the importance of Mental Health, we MUST normalize the continued stigma, we MUST dial the volume up, help one another, and champion Susan's favorite question, "how are you, REALLY?!". If you are lost, if you have been touched by depression or suicide, if you want to find fulfillment in your next chapters of life, this conversation will be just what the Pharmacist prescribed. 1.19.21 (in honor Bruce Kay= fly close, Papa Bruce, we did this one for you!)
