Steve and Adam had fun being back in the Dagum Dads studio talking about everything Christmas. We talk about Christmas movies, music and traditions. Adam even told a story about how he recently got ripped off but didn't do anything about it. We hope you all enjoy.

This week we interviewed Steve's good friend Troy McDonald. He told us what its like to be a single dad, he talked the struggles he has as he adjusts to his new life. He talks about what its like to co-parent and what the holidays are like. He definitely has some good things to say concerning being a single dad.

This weeks episode is a special one, we were honored to have Joey and Lauren Jenkins from Joey and Lauren in the Morning on MY 102.7 join us. They were able to tell their story about infertility and the struggles they went through. They talked about what they had to do to eventually get pregnant and have a child. They were fun to talk to and get to know, If you ever get the chance to meet them I would highly recommend it.

We have an interview episode this week. Steve was out of town for work so Adam interviewed Shawn Rapier. Shawn is a hilarious comedian that is also a family man. Him and his wife have two biological children and through promptings from God also have 6 adopted kids. In this episode he talks about the journey of adoption and tells us all about the wild, crazy, amazing ride it has been. 

In this episode we talk about our hobbies that we have. Adam claims he doesn't have any but Steve interrogates him until they find out he just might have one. We discuss what our kids hobbies are too and how they got into them.

We are back! With both of us being gone for a few weeks on business, we are back. In this episode we pretty much just catch up on our lives with each other and hit back on a few topics we previously talk about. We hope you enjoy!

How do we problem solve? How do we teach our kids how to problem solve? In this episode we get into the nitty gritty about problem solving and how we teach our kids how to problem solve.

With the new school year starting we decided to talk about our kids going back to school. We discuss things we are excited about and things we are worried about with our kids going back to school. Of course we get sidetracked while we talk about this topic leaving to some laughing until you cry content.

Oh boy, we have a good one for everyone this time. We talk about "social media" and how we both just don't like to very much. We discuss the pros and cons of it and how we came to our decision on if we will let our kids have one or not. Adam also makes a shocking claim that has to do with politics. I wonder what it could be?

Summer vacations as a kid were fun. We talk about summer vacations when we were kids and what we did like camping, hanging out with cousins and friends and when we were old enough we worked. Now that we have kids our summers a lot different, but we try and give them the same experiences that we had.

How do you go about telling your kids critical information. In this episode we discuss our ways that we let our kids know the things we think they need to know.

Long road trips, short road trips, boring and fun road trips we've experienced them all. Flying solo or with the whole family we've all been there. In this episode we talk about our experiences as a child traveling and as a parent taking trips with children.

Being a parent can be full of emotions, from sad to mad to happy and even love. There's no telling through out the day how many emotions you will feel, especially when you have more than one kid. We talk about moments when we have felt emotions and what brought them on.

We talk about a touchy subject in this one. Do you let your kids go to sleeps overs or have sleep overs? We discuss our reasoning behind our choices with this topic. We also talk about things we did while going to sleep overs at young kids. Steve definitely was more daring than Adam was, that's for sure.

What does it take to have patience with our kids and spouses? In this episode we discuss ways to be patient with our family, from counting to ten to just walking away. With 4 kids Adam has plenty to talk about when it comes to this topic.

Between work, kids, spouses, sports and personal time, how do we do it all? We discuss how with our busy lives we manage to juggle the good the bad and the hectic. some days are better than others but we make it work. 

When it comes to talking to your kids, just do it, it doesn't matter what the subject is. The important thing to remember is that we need to talk to them, talking to them builds trust and strengthens your relationship with them. In this episode we discuss things that we talk to your kids about and the way we go about talking to them. Some subject are hard to talk about and some are easy but it needs to be done.

From our grandpas, to our dads, to us, we talk about how every generation has a different way of parenting. We discuss the difference in parenting styles and the type of relationships we had with our dads. Are we parenting just like our dads parented us or are we switching up the parenting game and doing it a totally different way? Guess you'll have to listen to find out.

It's time to talk about the movies we grew up watching and the difference of today's movies our kids watch today. Steve breaks down the rating process for movies and how they are rated the way they are. Let's just say there is a big difference between movies now and movies back then. it sure was fun talking about them.

We get serious with this episode. Adam becomes an ambassador for an anti bullying organization called Community Kindness Movement and tells the listeners what its all about. We both talk about our own experiences with being bullied and what we did to get passed it. We also talk about what makes a bully and what you can do as a parent to keep your child from being one.
