Your Thoughts Shape Your Reality
In this episode, I am joined with Amanda Louder, a life coach who helps people understand how their own thoughts are a direct reflection of their outcomes. She believes that simply having awareness around our thoughts is the most powerful switch to making conscious choices to change any circumstance if we so choose. We dive into Amanda’s story of her divorce, and how leaving an abusive relationship for a loving one made her realize that it was not so much what was outside, but how she felt on the inside that changed her world. Amanda shares her experience on mothering a blended family, balancing her desire to nurture with mutual respect, and her journey of parenting her now 16-year-old daughter, who was diagnosed with Bipolar II at the age of 8. How you choose to think about your children and their issues can shape your experience with them. Gain insight from Amanda, as she walks us through understanding how your thoughts are shaping the way you perceive your children and how you are making things harder for yourself by the way you are thinking. We also get into: Abusive vs. healthy partnerships Life as a step-parent A journey into discovering Bipolar II The importance of the self in self-regulation Preparing for the “what if” situations in life Add Amanda’s resources to your conscious parent toolbox: Website: AmandaLouder.com Podcast: Live From Love Facebook: Amanda Louder Coaching Instagram: @amandaloudercoaching   If you resonate with Amanda’s story, she offers free 20 minute sessions through her website!   Questions? Are You Stressing Too?
In this solo episode, I discuss my most recent lesson: the effect of my own stress on others. Children are intuitive channels, they are sponges that absorb everything that we give off, especially our energy. I talk about my experience of showing up to work dysregulated and the chaos that it caused in my students. Following this story, I introduce ways in which we, as parents and caregivers, can allow ourselves permission to put our needs first so that we can learn how to regulate ourselves. With that small shift, we are naturally given the tools to regulate our children.

A Paradigm Shift
Today I am joined with Jason Arneson, owner and founder of Arneson guides, and father of two. Jason is a teacher, counselor, and a guide to those embarking on the journey of life. He believes in the power of small group engagement and meaningful conversation to change your reality and expand your mind. Jason’s favorite question: “what’s next?” When people ask that question they are ready to make a change, take a risk, and escape the orbit of status quo. Each one of us has the answers to our own questions of meaning inside of us already. As a guide, using conversation, questions and listening intently to your answer, Jason will help you determine your direction, define your best next step, and identify the most important sign-posts up ahead. In this episode with Jason, we dive into removing the beliefs and ideas that have been placed upon us in the past so that we can align with our authentic selves. We also talk about the most important shift – that of being a product of society to breaking out of the box and becoming products of our own reality that drive our personal passions. Jason believes that your value is in the experience and presence of being a human being, and in this mindblowing episode, he urges us to begin taking those steps in the right direction.     We also talk about Freedom in a new paradigm. Finding value in the role of simply being a human. Why a “one size fits all” model doesn’t work. The hedonic treadmill and the cycle of constantly wanting more. Removing competitiveness and comparison and shifting focus inward. Reframing disability and looking at personal challenges as gifts.   Resources: Learn more and work with Jason: Arnesonguides.com Twitter: @ArnesonGuides Instagram: @ArnesonGuides Email: Jason@ArnesonGuides.com Questions?
