Letting Go Of Toxic Apology Culture + How To Forgive
In this episode, I share a personal experience from January 2020 as an example regarding the toxic apology culture I've observed in society today. I answer a lot of questions like when I think apologies are beneficial, when we need to skip apologies, how I plan to teach my daughter about apologies, and loads more on the manipulative direction apologies seem to be moving towards... I hope you enjoy this episode and see it as an opportunity to put the power back in your hands. Take responsibility for the reality we are all living in. And heal ourselves to heal the world. Overcoming Fear | May Your Choices Reflect Your Hopes, Not Your Fears
I got an email recently from a reader who is thinking about starting a blog and asked me a few questions. Two of them were far too deep to put in an email for just her so I decided to bring them here. The questions were: How did you overcome that fear [of starting a blog/business]?! How did you become successful and what all did you have to do? Her questions reminded me of another question I get A LOT which is: how did you get over your fear of having a baby? In response to a couple of posts I wrote a couple of years ago on why I was afraid to be pregnant and have a baby and why I was afraid to have kids. So today I'm tackling how I've overcome fear in all area of my life, specifics for blogging and kids, and my take and tips for success! Monday Mantra: Stay In Your Own Lane
We've all heard it before; eyes on your own paper, hater blockers on, stay in your own lane. There's a reason this cliche has been said over and over and in a million different ways for decades. It's because it's helpful advice! But just because something is helpful advice, doesn't mean we always listen. In today's episode, I'm sharing how I woke up and finally started staying in my own lane; what it cost me when I was focusing on everyone else's lanes, and the rewards I've reaped since focusing on myself.

Headspace App - a fabulous app with meditations for every situations in your life. Whether it's to inspire compassion, reduce stress, or relieve anxiety, there's a mediation for everything.
