It has been a month since our last podcast. The holidays disrupted our schedules, and BG fell ill with Covid, the flu, and who knows what else. This experience made us consider the value of good health, and how one does not truly appreciate it until it is gone. This emphasis on health is why Jon originally established ICT and continues to be a priority for Kodiak Pro. In the afternoon we will cast various mix designs for the projectiles, as well as some targets for a rifle competition on Day 2. In the evening we’ll gather at the HollerCrete Saloon, and around the fire-pit. Day 2 - we will de-mold and process the projects and targets. There will be demonstrations on sealing. In the afternoon we will proceed to launch concrete projectiles into a field of targets, and shoot concrete targets to see how various mix designs fare. Perseverance is the key to success. This week, Brandon was tested in the studio when a form blew out, DURING A FACEBOOK LIVESTREAM, and he spent the next 3 hours cleaning up the mess - but they rebuilt the form, batched out more mix, and got it cast that evening! The Japanese have a saying, "Nana korobi ya oki”, which roughly translates as, “fall down seven times, get up eight.” Keep getting up! When haters and trolls try to bring you down, keep persevering.
