This week Bruce and Wayne had special guest Dina Readinger. She worked for GSK(a pharmaceutical company) for over 25 years, the last 10 years of her tenure, she was a manager of the company and helped provide over 17 drugs during her time there. In 2015 she retired and pursued a career in being a certified coach with the Healthcare Coaching Institute. In 2016 she coached the largest woman-owned oil company. She helped retain all but one member of management when the company was bought out. She also is the recipient of an executive MBA. For the past 6 years, she has helped with female leadership and encouraged women to be successful in the business world. This week Bruce and Wayne had special guest Travis Lutter, who is a retired UFC fighter, based in Fort Worth, Texas, and is a Jiu-Jitsu instructor. He opened a Jiu-Jitsu school in 1998 and it is still open today, unlike traditional schools he mostly teaches adults instead of predominantly kids, he also discusses how his school is set up and how he trains his students. Travis discusses his fighting journey and the difference between Jiu-Jitsu and other fighting styles. Later in the program, Bruce and Travis discussed how fighters would make weight and what methods they would use to drop to the desired weight before a fight. This week Bruce and Wayne had special guest Kyle Sandler, who was a former BOP inmate. He was a part of startup America, formed by the Obama administration, he also was an entrepreneur resident at Auburn University. On the podcast, they discussed President Trump’s first step act, which allows nonviolent inmates an opportunity to leave the prison earlier and get back into a community. In 2018 Kyle was charged with fraud and sentenced to 63 months in federal prison. However, he was let out a year early through the first step act. Throughout the podcast, Kyle and Bruce discuss his time in prison and the process of how he was released. They also talk about Halfway Houses. This is a great listen on how getting out of prison works and how inmates can learn the system.
