I'm not sure how the rest of the world does with storage units, but southern California seems to be the Mecca of pornography and sex toys.  Listen in as Doobie and I share our finds!  

Doobie and I delve into the wonderful world of tweaker units!  I guess it wouldn't have been so bad for me if it wasn't for the stupid scissor lift I had to load and unload a thousand times...Doobie scores an autographed ceremonial first pitch Dodger ball, but has no idea who the signature is!  You can see pics of the units before we started digging, the scissor lift, the basball on IG (finders_thrift) and FB Finders Thrift.    We have since found out who the signature is and I'll post it on Social media in a day or two.    

No, I'm not quitting the podcast!  This episode is dedicated to the wonderful world of taking things apart and selling them! AND what do you do with all the little things we find in storage units or garage sales that aren't worth the time to sell on line by themselves......Bundle them!  

I've been friends with Mike for a million years it seems.  At one point, he was buying storage units right beside me before going to law school and becoming a lawyer!  In this interview we talk about the laws of auctions, hypothetical and real situations, and an unethical business decision made by American Auctioneers last week.   Sorry for the crappy sound quality, I got some new gear and I apparently don't know how to use it correctly.

Doobie and I talk about some of the storage units we recently purchased.  I find a couple of very rare toys and boxes of Gi Joe toys!  

The $5 word with the 5 cent meaning.  Honestly, I hate this word.  It's pretentious and overused in the reselling community.  Also, I need to clear up that I do inventory and care about my business I just don't like to use ridiculous words to glamorize what I do.  I buy storage units at sell them for profit and I love what I do.

Here's what happens when you sit down with the person that owned the storage unit before you bought it at auction.  Tyree Jesse Is a fantastic Painter and I bought this unit because I saw one painting in it that I thought was salable.  Something drew me to it and I'm hoping it will draw you in too.  I'm hoping that we as a small group of humans can help find Tyree a larger audience for his art.
