The peak of summer is upon us, but the Blu-ray releases are cooling off! Join us for a rather short month of releases that will still appeal to all of you double dippers out there! And for perhaps the first time in Discmemberment history, a week is dominated by a single franchise!

It's time for PART 2 of our look back at the Universal Frankenstein series! This week we're talking about SON OF FRANKENSTEIN (1939), GHOST OF FRANKENSTEIN (1942), and HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1944)!

It's time for Week 2 of our SUMMER SLAYCATION and this time we're looking at the FRANKENSTEIN franchise! For Part 1 we'll look at the first two classic films, FRANKENSTEIN (1931) and BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935)!

It's finally time to start our SUMMER SLAYCATION, and this one will be epic! This year we're covering all of the classic Universal monster characters: Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, The Mummy, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, and The Invisible Man! In Week 1, we're taking a look at the four films in the Dracula franchise, DRACULA (1931), DRACULA'S DAUGHTER (1936), SON OF DRACULA (1943), and HOUSE OF DRACULA (1945). You've probably seen the original DRACULA, but how well do you know its sequels? In addition to our discussion of the films, we'll also give you our personal rankings of the series. This promises to be a fantastic summer for all things classic monster, so join us as we go way back in film history to the origins of the horror genre we know and love today!

DASHCAM follows the crazy night of an equally crazy musician livestreamer as she gets into one unnatural (or is it supernatural?) situation after another. We're back and this week looking at one of the hottest new titles, Ti West's highly anticipated X (2022)! In our FIRST CHOP, Tim cleans up with Nic Cage at WILLY'S WONDERLAND, and Brian faces a torturous Tubi Trap with THE KILLER CHRISTMAS ELVES! In X, Ti West brings the aesthetic of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE to a terrifying look at age, sex, and psychosis. We're back from our week off, and we're revisiting an early 90s horror classic - POPCORN (1991)! In our FIRST CHOP, Tim dives into the strange world of the mystifying game/social experiment documented in THE INSTITUTE (2012). Then both Brian and Tim suffer in this week's TUBI TRAP selections, in which evil leprechauns and scarecrows abound! Next up we'll have a complete rundown of all the winners from the FANGORIA CHAINSAW AWARDS! Did your favorites "make the cut?" Then we look back at POPCORN, a slasher that wore its love of old hokey horror films on its sleeve. With a nostalgic premise that has somehow aged better than many of its contemporaries, this is one film festival fear-fest you're going to definitely want to check out again if you haven't seen it in awhile!

We'll talk about her career and what she's currently playing! Then we stick with the role-playing theme by reviewing THE BUNKER GAME. A Live Action Roleplaying Game (LARP) set in an alternate post-WW2 goes awry when supernatural events start occurring. Did we love this fascinating premise, or should this one have been left in the fallout shelter?
