Will reviews the first episode of the new HBO show "The Last of Us" based on a video game. Will discusses how Christians should handle LGBT characters and the themes of fatherhood found in the first episode.

Will interviews his foster brother David live. They discussed their experiences as children, abuse, the foster system, and how they rose above their circumstances. In this very raw episode Will and David hold nothing back about their family and how it affected them, but also how they overcame their circumstances. David hosts the Rising Above Podcast which is dedicated to stories of many who have risen above their circumstances and overcame adversity.

Will interviews the brilliant Dr. Tim McGrew. They discuss apologetics, maximal data for the resurrection of Christ, the study of knowledge (epistemology) including internalism and externalism, and several of his books. You will definitely learn a lot from this episode!

Will interviews Barry Peters, a former pastor, who recounts his experiences with church splits. Everyone's experiences with church splits are unique, but they seem to have common symptoms in how they start and how people react when they encounter them.

This episode deals with mature content regarding abuse and evil. A long time friend of Will's comes back on the show to talk in depth about his past abuse, homosexuality, Calvinism, the problem of evil, and its impact on his marriage, his ministry, and his life. This episode touches many topics that are church splitting issues that are often avoided. Many followers of The Church Split actively support this missionary.

Will and Brian went on Faith Unaltered's channel to discuss Will's recent atonement theory episode and another episode where they addressed Will's comments. The round table focuses on IF Church Fathers held to a form of Penal Substitution or were there just word choice similarities as. In the second half, the discussion jumps into the Levitical sacrificial system and if we are pushing the PSA version of Jesus' sacrifice into the OT. Truth Over Tribe is a podcast seeking to challenge Christians and non-Christians on how you consider truth. Like The Church Split, they don't take themselves too seriously. They want Jesus to shape truth and not media, politics, and triblism. Patrick Miller is a pastor, co-host of the podcast, and co-author of their new book also named Truth Over Tribe. We discuss with Patrick triblism in his church, the American church, and how it is hurting the church, friendships, and families.

To round out spooky season, we have another review. This review of the Netflix TV Series, Dahmer. Dahmer is an interesting person from a Christian perspective as he exemplifies so much evil throughout his life, but also claims to have become a Christian in the last months of his life. Will breaks down the TV show, the real Jeffrey Dahmer, and poses the question if Christians should consider watching this show.

Continuing our movie review theme for the month of October, we have another "spooky" movie that Will has reviewed. The 1986 movie "The Fly" is a remake of an earlier version of the film. Will explores the themes of loosing loved ones, human value of relationships in a society with morality, and even some accidental pro-life themes.
