It’s been an interesting year so far and the month of September was no exception. We are up HUGE amounts of volume in all categories except the condo apartments and even those are up 6.5%.  The interesting story with the condos is that the pricing and number of sales are both up from last year however the number of units for sale is up 150% and that’s making it FEEL much slower than we are used to due to all of the choices that are available. Hot Off the Press!! In this video I will tell you all about the exciting new development that was announced last week for the Square One area. Oxford and AIMco are planning a multi decade project to overhaul the neighbourhood into one of the most forward-thinking communities in the country. This Mississauga development is going to be the largest downtown master planned community in Canadian history and it looks like it’s going to be SO cool! They’ve partnered with Daniel’s for the first phase of the residential development…and they happen to be one of my favourite condominium builders. There will be residential units, new retail and office building and over half on the new residential will be purpose built rental buildings.
