We live in an age where information is both readily available and easily accessible. It's at our fingertips, in our back pockets, whenever we want, wherever we go. And while this can seem helpful on this motherhood journey, it's actually kind of the opposite.   I'm sure I'm not the only Mama who's been frantically searching Dr. Google's million answers for why my baby won't sleep through the night, or when it's the right time to introduce solid foods and what foods should be introduced first. And I'm sure there are Mama's who are at stages further along than me, trying to find the magic recipe to make their preteen talk to them about what's actually going on at school. The list goes on.   So how do we sift through all the information around us and not only choose what works best for our families, but be confident in the choices we make?   Let’s find out together.

Today's episode is all about how busyness in our world should look when we lead a Christ-centered life. Using Matthew 11:28-30 as our guide, we talk about how we need to set aside our desire to be superwoman, our desire to have it all, do it all, and be it all, so that we can find true rest for our souls.

In light of all the recent travesties that have taken place in Canada, we both felt it was a pertinent time to have a conversation with you ladies about questioning God. Are we allowed to question where God is in times of trouble and hardship, or are we to just simply go along with things as if we are emotionless robots? We can't believe that this is the last episode in our series on home and all that that word entails. In today's episode Danielle shares a bit of her story and how she has moved more in the last 6 years than most people move in their lifetime. One reason in particular that she's loved the adventure of moving so much is because it has allowed her the opportunity for a lot of new beginnings and figuring out what home really is. At the end, we make sure to talk about how new beginnings don't only come when one ups their roots and move, but rather new beginnings are just as much a mindset as a physical occurrence.

Seeing as Valentine's Day has just passed, we thought it would be a good time to talk about contentedness in relationships, because, well let's be honest, relationships are messy! In this episode we reference Paul talking about how he has learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, and then follow up with three practical ways on how to steer our heart towards being content in our relationships with others. 

In today's episode we get pretty deep right off the start by asking each other to honestly answer what one thing is that we learned about ourselves in 2017. We continue reflecting back on recognized challenges that we each have that need to be worked on and overcome, and then we look forward with hope to 2018 and share our one little word for the new year.

We can hardly believe that it's 2018 already! In this episode we talk about our honest feelings on New Years resolutions, and how we've come to conclude that they can be really beneficial to our growth throughout the year. Lisa even shares one of her resolutions for this year so that we can all help to keep her accountable!

Christmas is less than one week away! And as this is our last episode before the coming of the new year, we wanted to talk about little acts of kindness that we can do to bless others during this holiday season. (That said though, both of us were convicted that we really should be doing little acts of kindness throughout the whole year!)

By shopping local, we don't only get a chance to build relationships with our neighbours, but we get a chance to pour into them and support their families. So, with Christmas just around the corner, we thought it would be a good idea to share with you some of our favourite local shops/businesses in Saskatchewan. Enjoy!

Adult friendship just doesn't come as easy as it did when we were in grade school. It takes work, lots of work. In this episode we talk about the very beginnings of friendship, including what attracts us to a potential friend and what puts us off of wanting to pursue friendship. And of course, we couldn't talk about friendship without sharing our own story of how we became friends. 

Finding a balance on social media can prove to be challenging. Most often we find ourselves either posting posed, Pinterest-Perfect kind of posts, or we find ourselves posting our dirty laundry without restraint. In this episode, we talk about why we women are most often drawn to one of the two extremes, and why it's so important that we find a healthy balance between them. And of course, we talk about what God's charis has to do with any of this.
