San Fransisco 49er quaterback Colin Keaperneck chose to sit during the national anthem. And all of America flipped out. Well...mostly. Some chose to support him and his cause. In this 60th episode, the guys give their 2 cents on the matter.

Bakersfield and the surrounding areas seems to have wacky and wild stories. From 14 year old kids with Down Syndrome choking to death on hotdogs to restaurants being shut down from cockroach invasions. It is a city with a small town mentality. To quote Randy, Bakersfield "wants to be a big city." But it is stuck in old ways and can not or is not ready to take that next step. But.....all that aside, it is home for these two. And at least this city is a patriotic, 2nd Amendment-loving city and not like San Fransisco. If only the it wasn't so God damn HOT!!!!!!!!

The Olympics are finally over. What a shit show they were too, huh? So much went wrong and nobody seemed to care about the actual events as much as they were the shinanigans which went on outside the events. The guys dive into a discussion about sports and how some people, especially parents of athletes, take them way too serious. There isn't any fun in them anymore.  EVERYONE IS A FUTURE DRAFT PICK!!!

But they are charged up and ready to start offending the thin skinned haters out there. They tackle everything from the ridiculous Olympics, to movies, and this racism insanity spreading across the nation. IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE SHOW: THESE GUYS CUSS. A LOT.

Comedian Jim Jefferies came to Bakersfield last Saturday and the guys both attended. The show started out hilarious but some feel that it ended badly. RANDY defends Jim's position of bringing up politics and current events, while CHADMAN simply wanted to leave because it was hot, full of drunks, and he felt the comedy had fizzled out. One thing is certain, some people do NOT like to attend ball games, concerts, comedy shows, etc. and be reminded of this shitty world we live in. The guys can laugh at stuff all day long, but most people have a low tolerance on jokes about religion and sex.

These political conventions are complete madness and total shitshows. One had speeches that were plagiarized and was filled with patriotism. While the other has brainwashed zombies walking around crying and throwing fits...with absolutely no patriotism. There has never been a more ridiculous time in American politics. And you know what.......we deserve it. This is what we have created for ourselves. No matter who wins, the future does not look pretty. There will be no sigh of relief once the election is over. As Randy says, "...we need aliens to land and start taking over...."

From local violence and murders to a world full of nuclear weapons and terrorist attacks...the world seems to be over. At least as far as we used to know it. The way of life in the past is gone. Going to a nightclub or watching fireworks can prove deadly. Cops are being killed. Old ladies are having their homes invaded and are getting shot. The guys talk about all this and how the current political scene in America is just as bad. The world as we once knew it is over.

Political corruption. Mass murders. Racial divide. The state of the nation is literally falling apart. Meanwhile many Americans are doing what they feel is best...catching fake creatures. Pokemon GO is sweeping across America. Yes, it brings people together. Yes, it is just a game. But it is also a convenient distraction for people like HIllary Clinton and Obama. Nothing is wrong with games and meeting in public to fantasize about magical creatures. But when there are much more pressing issues to be addressed, some things should wait. But that won't happen. And some people will profit and even rob and hurt people while they play these games. It has been a week and all of the above have occured.....oh look!!....I found one!!!......what was I saying, again....?

Freedom Fest was a complete success!! However, the days following were marked in tragedy when 2 black men in different states were killed by police officers, followed by the attack in Dallas where 5 police officers were gunned down. The guys talk about all of this and where they think this is all headed. It is sad to see the country come together for one day and within a week's time, be completely divided. Hopefully soon our country can pull its head out of it's ass and this silly racism nonsense can go away.

The Aviators hung out for the last of 5 pre-Freedom Fest shows released this week. This was a rather lively conversation. They tell a few stories and all of the guys discuss what celebrity would be the best to party with at the drop of a dime...no questions asked. Toward the end of the show, you get to hear a few "Willisms", which their guitar player Will Slikker is known to utter from time to time. The Aviators are the headline band to play Freedom Fest this Saturday at B Ryders.

Jacob from DryHippo Productions stops by and talks Season 6 of Game of Thrones with the guys. This is the first Game of Thrones recap episode CHADMAN and RANDY have done. An rest assured, Jacob was the person to have on and dig deep into the world Westeros. So prepare to geek out, because they dissect the show and season. Jacob also talks about his upcoming projects and Freedom Fest on July 2nd. He is responsible for all of those promo videos that were seen on Facebook leading to this weekend.

Continuing this week's run up to Freedom Fest this Saturday, the guys sat down with 90s cover band Rear View Mirror and talked music and movies. Music from the 90s resonated with a lot of people and to this day, can be listened to and enjoyed. But the movies...not so much. This is a fun and entertaining episode. They will be playing second at Freedom Fest. Be sure to come by and check em out.

Fresh off of Father's Day, the guys explain how they feel about a kid getting eaten by an alligator at Disney World recently. These 2 are not perfect fathers, but they would never let their kids out of sight long enough to fall in a gorilla pit...and they damn sure would never let their kids swim in a Florida lake where alligators have been known to lurk. (Even "if" the lake was on the Happiest Place on Earth.) This leads to a broad discussion on parenting as a whole, and how many Americans live in an illusion of false security and a "tribal" mentality; where other people are expected to help look after their children. There is obviously a vast difference in parenting in America compared to the rest of the world.

It is not common to find a homosexual who is "pro" 2nd Amendment. Most gays in America lean left politically and are largely for gun control. In light of the recent terrorist attack at a gay night club in Orlando, CHADMAN went looking for a person or group in the local gay community to discuss their opinion on the events. He found a local group called, "Pink Pistols and Straight Shooters" which consists of gay and straight people alike. This group welcomes anyone, of any orientation or lifestyle, to join them. They promote the 2nd Amendment and firearm safety. Friends Charles Collom (a gay man) and Randy Lovegreen (a straight, married, Christian man) started the group. They came by and had an entertaining and enlightening discussion on the recent events in Orlando and the 2nd Amendment.

Professor Michael Mastagni, a mentor of CHADMAN's, drops by the studio and talks with the guys. His story is worthy enough to be made into a movie. From teaching elementary school in the 60s, being drafted as a Mandarin-Chinese linguist during Vietnam, working with the NSA, CIA, and other agencies, and ending up teaching high school English and Art in Bakersfield where he ended up having a mouthy little trouble maker (CHADMAN) as one his students in the late 90s. He would have a profound effect on CHADMAN, as well as many other students. He would go on to be a professor at Chapman University where he recently retired after 50 years of educating. This episode proves that "real" teachers and educators are a true gift to society. Their lessons go way past the classroom and can follow us our entire lives.

Last month,  a member of the NAACP called CHADMAN insensitive and racist. Which is funny because he is not. This same member of the NAACP is apparently facing legal issues after beating his wife when she caught him cheating. So who is the insensitive one, now? This gets the guys talking about bigotry and leads them to discuss the recent mayoral debate in Bakersfield. Some of the candidates were asked if they would attend a homosexual parade. All but one answered immediately. CHADMAN and RANDY play this part of the debate for you to listen so you can judge for yourself how these individuals feel about the topic. What is interesting is how local politicians can look and sound just as retarded and fake as the presidential and congressional politicians. After all, a politician is a politician, despite the level of government.

Randy went to Vegas this past weekend and comes back with a story. Randy and his wife spent their anniversary there and saw Penn and Teller LIVE. They also got to meet both of them. The guys start talking about how Vegas has changed over the years. While it still is “America’s Party”, a lot of it has gone neglected. Regardless, Las Vegas is and always will be Sin City and will take a lot of you…in more ways than one. As Randy describes.
