CPS 003: Trust
We so often doubt the plans of God, but He takes care of us in ways that we cannot possibly anticipate. In this episode, I bring you through the recent few months of mine and Justin's life, demonstrating how we have needed to trust the Lord and how well He has provided for us. I mention Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University course at the beginning of the episode, and if you struggle with financial peace, are looking for freedom from debt, or would just like to learn more about what the Bible says about money, you can check out the course and Dave's other products here. I also read a verse from Isaiah. The exact scripture is Isaiah 40:31. If you like the CPS podcast, please consider heading over the iTunes and leaving a comment and a rating. CPS 002: Forgiveness
This podcast episode is a re-recording of the talk I gave at the 2015 Life in the Spirit seminar at Ste. Marie church. What is forgiveness? How do you know when you've truly forgiven someone? How do you go about forgiving others? Matthew 18:12-35 CHOICE not to count an offense against someone not to judge others based on their transgressions to think and live as thought you have not been offended to set both parties free TRANSFORMATION Bitterness: dwell often on an offense that hurts when you think of it not on speaking terms with someone dread seeing someone Build bridges, not walls. RECONCILIATION If it feels impossible, ask Jesus to do it for you. Don't just forgive, work it out. Humility is the sledge-hammer that breaks down walls. Forgiveness transforms us into living witnesses of the love of God and His free gift of salvation.
