Ahoy there!   Been quite a while since we weighed anchor to release a new episode.   We are back in style with the Argento classic, 1982's Tenebrae.  The James Ferman inspired history on the UK censorship scene makes a comeback in this one.  Quite an odd history and one that places it at the forefront of the video nasty era.  Deserved or not?  Let's find out.

Ahoy!  Still stranded on the ship with no sign of shore leave The Captain and Jon are still on the chain.  This time round we are having a dabble with Jonas Åkerlund.  More precisely his 2019 film surrounding the Norwegian Black Metal scene back in the 90's.  The Captain and Jon were very aware of the scene back in the day so what will we make of this?  Note of caution...this is a hell of a ramble so stick in. The film chat will happen.  At some point.  Eventually.

Back on the chain after our little trip to Colour Out of Space and it's a hefty vintage number from the 80's in the shape of Joel Schumacher's The Lost Boys from 1987.  How much more 80's could this be?  None.  None more 80's.  Will we survive the sensory overload of 80's imagery to piece together some sort of coherent chat on this film?  Spoiler......not very likely.
