In Isolation, Audio Portraits from Spring 2020
The Middlebury Campus and Middlebury Magazine is pleased to present a joint publishing project, “In Isolation: Audio Portraits from Spring 2020.” Featuring student work from Professor Erin Davis’s spring podcasting course and produced and narrated by Campus Editor-at-Large Sadie Housberg, the resulting project offers insight into a disrupted semester amid the early days of sheltering in place, as students leave campus and return home. The Campus presents all of the pieces in one episode of its podcast here. The Magazine will be publishing each episode individually and serially over the course of several weeks throughout August 2020.

The Campus Podcast — Halloween Edition
Our first scary story is a real-life experience narrated by Caroline King '22 and Riley Board '22 involving an avian paranormal encounter in Battell. The second story in our podcast is "Click-Clack the Rattlebag" by Neil Gaiman, and it's read by Caitlin Chan '22. Caitlin's creepy tones bring the story to life, as a precocious young boy (or is it?) lures the storyteller into mysterious circumstances. And our final story is a classic Boy Scouts tale, narrated by Michael Frank '20.5. In three minutes, Michael brings us to the edges of our seats with a chilling tale about a cabin in the woods and some lively paintings.
