Making permanent decisions based on temporary pain is a trick, a delusion, and a distraction from the enemy. If you make decisions based on temporary pain, they create permanent pain. One of the main separators between people who have success and those that don't is their ability to stay the course. Know that pain is temporary. Even good is temporary. So take the time to acknowledge and appreciate it all, look forward to what's coming, but keep making decisions! About five years down the road, what's going to matter? What's going to make an impact? One year, two years, three years?  

Your brain is recording things all the time and that builds the proof in your life that breeds your deepest beliefs and fuels your faith and energy. To reach the next level, you need that proof! Without fear, there cannot be courage. The narrative that without experiencing one extreme, like the sadness we experience after a breakup, we would be also be unable to appreciate the other end of the spectrum, the happiness we experienced during said relationship.
