Episode 33: The Subscription Audit
How many random subscriptions have you signed up for, paid for, and then completely forgotten about? My guess would be more than you are willing to admit. We've all done it, whether it was a great deal on Hulu or those first 6 months free of Sirius XM. We entered our credit card number, went about our lives, and ended up paying for months (or years) after forgetting. This week Ian and David tackle the subscription audit, where we challenge you to go through every one of your subscriptions and decide if it's worth keeping or discarding.Take a listen!www.TheBudgetTeacher.com

Episode 32: Dreaming of Retirement
**It has been brought to my attention that the Missouri PSRS retirement percentage is 2.5% not 2.2% as I described. Use .025 in your calculations not .022. .022 is used for 25 and out calculations (which is not normal/standard)**Have you given any thought to what retirement will look like for you? Most teachers have a pension, but what does that mean? Generally it will mean you make a percentage of your working salary for the rest of your life, but it won't cover all of it. In this episode David and Ian discuss how to plan for those retirement years, even if you are relatively young.Tune in and join us in this important conversation.Get Wise to PSLF webinar (youtube video)www.thebudgetteacher.com
