Episode 72 - Sam Dyer of Dyer & Co Property
Right, this is a good one so I say myself. We did this over Zoom and Sam was very open about his journey to date. Oil rigs, a bit of farming, cold calling to get a job, finding a business partner, and all the trials and tribulations of growing a business. Get that coffee, sit back and listen to my chat with Sam Dyer.

Episode 70 - Chris Wood is back for more!
A second chat with our guests is always a more relaxed affair. They know what we are about and we can delve a little bit deeper on how things are going. Here I talk with Chris Wood about how things are going at Portolio and he turns the tables on me to ask how things are going at Bricks and Mortar. Always great to chat with Chris and I'm sure you'll find this one a good one.

Episode 69 - A natter with Nigel Hammonds of Scottish Building Society
It is the new must have! An AirBnB or a serviced accomodation property is the must have accessory for your landlord. Better income, less legislation but are you playing by the lending rules. Only a couple of lenders are prepared to dip their toe in this market and this week we talk to one of them. Nigel Hammonds of Scottish Building Society talks Holiday lets and AirBnB and why they have gone into this market.

Episode 68 - Emanuel Howell talks energy
We talk with a renewables guy this week. It's all heat pumps and ground source things but if you're a landlord this is the kind of thing that you'll need knowledge of as the EPC regs come into force. Have you been stocking up on your tomatoes and pasta ahead of Brexit! Grab a coffee from the kitchen and join me and Emanuel as we have a chat about renewables. Make sure and get down to the shops after the episode as there's not much pasta left!!!!!!!

Episode 67 - The one with Delaney Graham
Starting your own business is hard enough but when you are starting your own legal firm there are a few added complications to throw in - regulation through The Law Society, lenders panels, client accounts and let's not forget the client mandate and the inevitable fall out that brings. But they have done it! Delaney Graham have been up and running since August and have a great story to tell. Grab a coffee and listen into my conversation with Sian Delany and Michael Graham of Delaney Graham.

Podcast 64 - The John Cox Interview
When I record the interviews, I have never met a great proportion of guests. This can seem daunting as we have to deal with "the awkward getting to know you thing" whilst the recorder is on. It can also have an impact on what the guests are prepared to let you see given the fact that the paint is still wet on rapport that you are still trying to cement. I am glad to say that John and I hit it off straight away and I admire his candid approach to the interview. He certainly looks like this is way that he runs all aspects of his business. It certanly mad for an interesting chat.........
