On today's monzocast we talked about the Bristol Bad Film Club's screening of Plan 9 From Outer Space, which was a sell-out success! Don't forget to grab your tickets for their next screening of Samurai Cop, which should be just as unintentionally hilarious as Plan 9 was. Matt got back from his stag do, where he sat down with his bro's to watch Caligula (each unto their own). Stu talked about the tragic Central Park Five documentary and then the disappointing Kick Ass 2: Electric Boogaloo. We then discussed high school movies such as American Pie, Mean Girls and Perks of Being a Wallflower.

We didn't see much this week but felt we had plenty to say. Firstly we talk about Philip Seymour Hoffman's heroin snorting fortnight. Michael Douglas and his cunnilingus induced throat cancer. Wax on about After Earth - A Will Smith and his "Dumb weiner-kid" production, which according to Matt has links to Scientology. I then gave review of Clive Owen in Shadow Dancer. Finally we played a game, Court came up with, about trying to predict a future box office hit.

In todays episode we decided to go for a Oktoberfest themed film discussion and went into a deep dive of Looper. We left the spolier right until the end, so dont worry if you havent seen it yet. We dicussed our favourite drinking films, Sideways, Beerfest, The Hangover and many more. Although you may see a pattern emerge with court hating most of the drinking films I liked. Sadly Matt couldnt make it to the podcast (He's under the weather), so as we were a man down, we roped in our friend Tom to be our intern for the night.
