Poet Rebecca Pott Fitton-The Best of Health and Fitness:Rebecca Pott Fitton
Our guest this week is author Rebecca Pott Fitton. She has written a soon-to-be released book of poetry called Wave Rider: A Journey From Abuse to Wholeness. Rebecca was a victim of abuse, & many of her poems reflected important moments of her journey, and she organized the poems from darkness and pain to spaciousness and wholeness. She realized that the importance of my work for others is not the poetry but the journey. The devastating consequences of sexual abuse, which is so prevalent in our culture, can be overcome. She is no longer a victim, and that is worth talking about.
