The Transformers, and important part of my childhood and falling in love with movies in many ways. When I was in film school, I felt my appreciation for Transformers and Michael Bay's filmmaking was invalid, as it was lacking in "artistic substance". That was how the Basement Binge started. Ms. Marvel was a character I fell in love with from the first page of her first book. I've been looking forward to this series for a while, a new character with a different spirit than what we've seen in the MCU. Animation Hall of Fave Volume 2 - Episode 2 Kung Fu Panda, I was not expecting to have this much to say. But when a film is this visually stunning and thematically rich there is a lot worth mentioning. It's funny, has a great voice cast, is stuffed with saturated sunsets, and tells a heartfelt story - Kung Fu Panda, in the words of Po "IS AWESOME!" --- To everyone's surprise, including his own, Po, an overweight, clumsy panda, is chosen as protector of the Valley of Peace.
