SNES Classic Preorders, DC Horror Book, Spawn Reboot, Fitness Trackers (The B+ Podcast Episode 26)
The B+ Podcast: Episode 26: On episode 26 of The B+ Podcast, we dive into: SNES Classic Pre-orders canceled by Wal-Mart DC House of Horrors The Spawn Reboot Fitness Trackers A few weeks ago, Wal-Mart had put the SNES Classic up for preorder on their website. A lot of people jumped at the opportunity to grab one. A few days after that, Walmart puts out a statement that the preorder was a technical glitch on their side. They stated the pre orders would not be filled and their money would be returned. Next, we talk about the new horror comic coming out of DC Comics - DC House Of Horrors. I am a huge fan of The Horror Show with Brian Keene podcast. They have been pushing this new comic coming out. It is a collaborative effort with all my favorite horror writers. They are coming together to write for a hero designated to them. Edward Lee is writing Superman. Mary Sangiovanni writing Wonder Woman. Nick Cutter writing Batman. I don't think there is anything else I could want in a comic book. They explain on the podcast that the best way for this to become an ongoing title is to pre order. I have gone and pre-ordered myself and I can't wait for it to come out in October. We also talked about the recent news that Spawn would be receiving a movie reboot. Creator Todd McFarlane is going to both write and direct the new movie. We discuss the old movie from 1997 and what this new movie could mean for the fans and the franchise. Finally, we talked about diving into the world of fitness trackers. While they are not as popular as they were in 2015, they are a product we feel helps you as a whole. We feel they help with health and keeping accountable for your daily exercise. Nasum looks at the top fitness trackers for sale if you decide to get one.

Death Note, Mayweather - McGregor Updates, Celebrity Passings (The B+ Podcast - Episode 25)
The B+ Podcast: Episode 25 On episode 25 of The B+ Podcast - we discuss: Death Note coming to Netflix Mayweather / McGregor updates And recent celebrity passings. We started off discussing the live action US version of Death Note coming to Netflix. We also talked a bit about our history of anime shows we watched during our childhood. Shows like Dragon Ball Z, Cowboy Bebop, and others. I am loving the Death Note anime to the point of an obsession. On Monday, I started it and I am already halfway through the series. Nasum and I are going to finish up the anime so we can watch the movie together and review it for the podcast. We also talked about the recent press conferences for the upcoming Mayweather / McGregor fight. The conferences are some of the most overblown, crazy nonsense. But it is definitely going to make this the biggest combat sports event in history. We look forward to it no matter what happens and will keep you updated as the fight gets closer. Finally, we get into the recent celebrity passings. We wanted to acknowledge the deaths of : Chester Bennington Martin Landau And the legendary George Romero We discuss the bodies of work that each person had - as well as their influence on culture in general. With George, we talked about how there would be no zombie phenomenon without this legend. Before we end the podcast, we dabble a bit into the new Skybound Press novels that will be coming out. Robert Kirkman (creator of The Walking Dead) now has another platform to bring horror to us! If you enjoy this podcast, please make sure to like and subscribe on our YouTube channel!

Spider - Man Homecoming SNES Classic Release Amazon Deals Worth It (The B+ Podcast Episode 24)
Today marked a landmark episode of The B+ Podcast. It was special because we decided, after 7 months of casting, that we would change up the format. We felt pigeonholed. An episode would cover only one topic that we set before casting. We would have these great discussions going on and go off on a tangent. Sometimes the tangents were going in a better direction than the subject we wanted to stick to. We had to then reel ourselves back in to focus on the subject at hand. Thus, sacrificing what could have been a great podcast that our audience would have been into. This episode is our test run of the new format we decided to put in place. We decided to cover a more broad spectrum of topics per episode and cover them to the extent of our knowledge. The audience can now have a more free flowing listen. We can touch on an array of topics rather than sticking to only one. The new format also allows us to stay more on top of current events. The B+ Podcast will now be more up to date with the topics that we discuss. On today's episode - we discuss Spider-Man: Homecoming, the SNES Classic, and Amazon Deals. Check out the new format of The B+ Podcast!

The Dark Tower Trailer Review
The Dark Tower: On this episode of The B+ Podcast, we discuss the new trailer for Stephen King’s – The Dark Tower. This week Sony dropped the trailer for the one of Stephen King’s most popular book series. The film adaptation of The Dark Tower. The trailer finally made it out! Which means we are FINALLY getting the movie. There was a lot of controversy leading up to this trailer. The movie went through many screenwriters, reshoots, and delays. The feel of this trailer can go either way for me. We were all in agreement that the trailer looked enjoyable. It is definitely something we look forward to seeing. Idris Elba looks great as Roland Deschain. Matthew McConaughey has some controversy surrounding him. He was cast as the villain: The Man In Black. If you have seen McConaughey’s role in True Detective – you know he can nail the role if the writing is on point. His recent acting is a testament that he can do a good job in the part. It’s an exciting time to be a Stephen King fan. For years, we haven’t seen many King film adaptations or TV Shows. The upcoming IT movie trailer looks great. King has a TV Show coming out on the Audience Network for his Mr. Mercedes books. And finally, we get the Dark Tower movie. Not to mention we don’t know how many nods to King’s other works we are going to get in these new adaptations. We can already see nods to Salem’s Lot. For all this and more, please check out the discussion on the podcast!

Kong Skull Island - Movie Review
Kong: Skull Island | Movie Review On episode 18 of The B+ Podcast, we talk about the new Kong: Skull Island movie. This is a first for the podcast because we have a 3-way tie. We all agree the movie was incredible. The movie was one the most enjoyable movies I have seen in awhile. Kong: Skull Island starts the action right from the beginning and never lets its foot off the gas. You don’t see this much excitement from current monster movies. We get to see the island where Kong is from and all its inhabitants. The island is chock full of monsters that aren’t named Kong. These creatures are enemies of Kong and we get to see how he handles them. We also get to see allies he has made on the island. Kong has human traits that make him likable in this movie. I went into this movie a Godzilla fan. If the movie gods ever grant us a Kong vs. Godzilla movie, I was going to be on Team Godzilla. After seeing this movie, I am not sure where I stand on that. The way this movie portrayed the monster was nothing short of excellent. In Godzilla movies, you root for the humans. The monster is this huge destructive force that needs to destroyed. Kong: Skull Island has you rooting for the monster the entire time. This is thanks to the amazing character development they did on Kong. The Cast: Tom Hiddleston also plays an incredible role in the film. But the guy that stole the show for me was John C. Reilly. He was the comic relief in the film. John takes the antics from great movies like Talladega Nights or Step Brothers into this film. The great thing is it all works because the movie is so fun and enjoyable. Now don’t get me wrong, there are some not so “fun” parts – but the movie as a whole is a joyride. I encourage anyone that is into monster movies to check this one out. You will NOT regret it. Kong: Skull Island is one of the best monster movies I have seen in a long time. I am super excited to see where they take the franchise here on out. Star Wars The Last Jedi - Teaser Trailer Discussion
Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer Discussion: After the less than positive review of Star Wars: Rogue One, today we discuss the teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. SPOILER ALERT: Our review of this 2-minute trailer is more positive than the entirety of Rogue One. I don’t know if that is because of the nostalgia kicking in. The main story arc will always be the nearest and dearest to our hearts. Needless to say, we are super excited for the next installment in the Star Wars saga. There were a lot of easter eggs in the trailer as well. We dive into them and discuss them in detail. The story can go in a lot of different directions from seeing these easter eggs. It will be exciting to see where they take the story. We discuss things we are hoping to see and things that maybe we won’t – but would be cool nonetheless. The future of the franchise looks bright with this trailer. Nasum is definitely the star of this episode. He is such an avid Star Wars geek and his knowledge comes out in full force here. The insights he gives into this trailer are ones not to be missed! We don’t know which way this trailer is going to take us. All we know is it looks great. They make references to getting rid of the Jedi as a whole. It’s going to be interesting to see where this goes come this Christmas season. As always, if you enjoyed the video please subscribe to the channel. We are also available on SoundCloud in audio format. You can subscribe to either platform so you never miss any updates!
