I am a principal at a school where there is little turnover. I have tried to model behavior and motivate my staff, but there is still a huge group that doesn’t do what is best for kids. How do you handle negative colleagues? If we all talk about constant change needed- when will it actually come from the top? Homework, stand. Tests etc? How do you feel about allowing students in middle school (6-8 grade) to carry their cell phones throughout the day. They are not being used in the classrooms for educational purposes.
