Show Notes Dr. Desiree Cox, from the Bahamas, is a scientific artist.  She specializes in regenerative art which is the union of science and creativity.  Dr. Cox uses what she calls her "Junkanoo Chords" palette based on a twice yearly Junkanoo Festival.  Not only does she claim to be a medical doctor specializing in psychiatry, but she is a self-taught artist, a Rhodes Scholar, and a Phd.  In the interview, she takes us back to her roots and shares about her yellow rucksack which she has as a reminder of her past.

Interview with JM Rizzi Artist
Show Notes JM Rizz, better know as JMR, is an artist originally from Brooklyn, New York, now working and residing in Dallas, Texas.  JM is very versatile and prolific.  He is an abstract expressionist working in color and black and white.  He also sculpts, create massive murals, and collaborates.  He uses collage elements in his paintings which gives them depth as he also uses transparent paint.   When creating murals, JM borrowed a technique from Matisse and uses a long stick with chalk on one end to draw on the wall.  JM's formative years were spent in Brooklyn riding a skateboard with a spray paint can in one hand and listening to music of his generation.

Show Notes Bo Bartlett is a realist painter, a film director and filmmaker.  His film, "Things Don't Stay Fixed," was recently released by Indican Pictures.  This film was in the making for 35 years, from Bo's concept through the script writing, and finally into production.  As a realist painter, Bo has based a series of works on the film, which will be shown at a New York City gallery in May.  In the meantime, Bo lives and works in Columbus, Georgia.
