Episode #130 – Corn dogs for turkey day?
It's the final regular season game of the year for the Aggies, and it's definitely been a weird season. The Aggies have yet to beat the LSU Tigers as members of the SEC, and we discuss the importance of tomorrow's game needing to be the one that breaks the trend. Aggie beat writer and radio host Aubrey Bloom also joined us on the show to share his thoughts on the matchup, the potential of this year's Aggie Basketball team, and the future of the Tottenham Hotspurs.

Podcast #129 – Aggie Hoops in Puerto Rico and Soccer in the Elite 8
It's a short week, so we're going to help start it off right with a long episode recapping the Aggie Hoops adventures in Puerto Rico and Aggie Soccer moving on to the Elite 8. Jason Zimmermann joins us again as the unofficial good luck charm to the team to break down the win over Notre Dame, and the upcoming match against Penn State.

Podcast #127 – Horsecollar Karma: Aggies Upset the Tigers
Yes, I am still laughing at Auburn fans that are crying throughout social media about the fumble that we stole from the bottom of a dogpile. You can have your one bad call, and we'll take the eleventy-billion missed holding calls against Myles Garrett. Have Auburn fans checked on their Left Tackle? I'm afraid he may have checked himself into the looney bin after having nightmares of Myles Garrett blowing by him over and over. We talk about the good and the bad from the game on Saturday and ask some important questions. Has the lightbulb finally gone off that the young guys on difference are simply better and get more playing time, versus just talking about giving them more playing time? Does the big road win overshadow the move away from what was working into an offensive scheme that nearly cost the Aggies the game? How many DBs would you take in this recruiting class? Spoiler alert: The answer to that last question is "All of them".

Podcast #125 – ULM Recap, and Florida Gator Talk
I know you aren't supposed to complain after a win, but I think that rule gets negated when you knee the clock out against a 2-2 Sun Belt team. Myles Garrett has now destroyed the single season SEC sack record for a Freshman, and Speedy Noil continues to show Aggie fans that he's going to be a beast. We spend plenty of time talking about what needs to be fixed, and we play a little game of "Who do you retain from the staff if you are Kevin Sumlin". We were joined by Florida Gators beat writer Morgan Moriarty from alligatorsports.org and Saturday Down South to get the reaction from Florida fans on their big win over the Georgia Bulldogs. As the biggest Muschamp to Aggieland fans, we had to find out if Gator fans think Will Muschamp's hot-seat has started to cool after the big win.

Podcast #123 – The Bye Week is Upon Us
It's the bye week. Fans needed. Players needed it. Blah. We're still in a bad mood.

Podcast #124 – A Change at QB1, ULM, and Throwbacks
It feels like it's been a decade since we've been able to see the Aggies at Kyle Field, and we get to see them this weekend against ULM in the sickest throwback uniforms we've ever seen. We break down our thoughts on the news surrounding Kyle Allen taking over the starting QB role, the throwback uniforms, and the latest on the Aggie Football recruiting trail.

Podcast #122 – Last Week Was the Bye Week, Right?
It's unfortunate that the team had their schedule mixed up in the locker room last week and they were led to believe that this past Saturday was a bye week. At least, that's what it looked like on the field. Much like the Ags, we accidentally took a week off last week, but we're back! Long story short, that was was pathetic. Rather than state the obvious for an entire episode, we continue making our case for the next Defensive Coordinator in Aggieland, and give a 1b option to our 1a. We also briefly talked about the 2015 basketball recruiting class, movies we saw this weekend, and of course we played some of the excellent Best Buds Voicemails. To the young lady that left the last voicemail, you are an insanely calm drunk at 4am, and we welcome our calm after last weekend.

Podcast #120 – Clanga Preview and Marooned in Aggieland
The 5-0 Aggies are heading to Starksville to take on the #12 Bulldogs, but first we have a giveaway to take care of. We had Josh Perry, author of Marooned in Aggieland: A Bumbling Brit Discovers College Football, Guns N' Waffles, on to catch up and get the latest from him. Josh got to hear the Top 5 contestants from the Fake British Accent contest, and he picked the grand prize only prize winner! Congratulations to BBQTU (at least I think that's what you said in the voicemail)! The contest portion of the podcast is at the beginning, so make sure you check it out to hear the top 5. Again, big thanks to everyone that sent in entries. Ya'all are awesome, seriously. The book is disappearing from inventories quick, so head over to Amazon and grab a copy! On to this week's game. Jake Wimberly from Maroon and White Nation, Rebel Sports Radio, and Bulldog Sports Radio joined us again this year as we take a look at the matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. He's a straight shooter when it comes to the Bulldogs, and he's always good for some jabs towards Ole Miss. Check out what Jake is keeping an eye on in this week's game. If you have good hazing ideas for Hunter on the next podcast to make up for missing this one, leave them in the comments section below.

Podcast #119 – Aggies Bring Home the Bacon
See you guys, we told you there was nothing to worry about in the Arkansas game. Needless to say, we were juuuuust a bit off on the Arkansas hype. There's not a team in the SEC West that will be overlooking the Razorbacks for the rest of this season. There were so many confusing things from that game for us to talk about, and for once, most of them were on the offensive side of the ball. It's safe to say our mood after that win is one of relief, and not much else. Hunter and I took a look around the potential coaching changes that may open up this off-season, and evaluated the chances of the Aggies losing our recruiting ace and Wide Receivers coach, David Beaty. Let's face it, your coaches are going to be at the top of job postings when they're having the success they are in Aggieland. Oh and Jackass of the Week. There were just so many to choose from. Hit the poll below to let us know your choice, or let us know who we missed in the comments.

Podcast #118 – No Arkansas Hype For You
We had to cover some big news to start the podcast. 1.) A&M and Notre Dame scheduled a home and home for kids that are currently in 2nd grade to enjoy as freshmen in high school. 2.) You can go to aggiesportsradio.com and sign up for early access to the iOS app. 3.) And last but absolutely not least, Coach Sumlin and the Swaggercopter made an appearance to check out Malik Jerfferson at the Poteet vs. Heath game tonight (complete with Heath student section chanting "KEV-IN-SUM-LIN). With those goodies out of the way, it's finally time to jump in head first to some SEC West games. The Aggies kick off division play against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday while Uncle Verne and Gary Danielson get complete manrections over the power running game from the Razorbacks. We take a deep look at what it's going to tOH MY GOSH I CAN"T FOCUS WITH ALL OF THE HYPE ARKANSAS IS GETTING COMING INTO THIS GAME! Look, we've been wrong before, but we just aren't buying it (this episode was recorded during the Tech loss to Oklahoma State by the way). Sure the contrasting styles will make for an interesting matchup, but we're not sold on this one. Another piece of big news we discussed on the podcast is the upcoming release of our good friend Josh's (@GigEmNation) book that explains the 2013 Aggie Football season through British perspective. We're getting our hands on a few advanced copies of the book, and we'll be giving one away on our show as soon as our copies arrive.

Podcast #117 – Turfgate and Nitpicking the Rice Game
The playing surface we terrible for the Rice game. It was unsafe, and a shame that so many players had injuries from it. There, we got that out of the way. Of course we talk about Turfgate, discuss what could have been done, and try to figure out what can be done going forward. It wasn't pretty, but let's all hope our grounds team can work some magic over the next 26 days. We put on our coaching hats and try to be as critical as we can against a team that won by four touchdowns. There's plenty of corrections and improvements to be made, but we have to question how much was just a vanilla gameplan. Also, did anyone else feel how weird the atmosphere was leaving Kyle Field after the game. Such a strange game. The conversation drifted towards discussing the College Football Playoff and how AP voters make their choices, so wear some oven mits before handling these hot sports takes!

Podcast #116 – Rice, Alaskan Bush People, and #WRTS
The excitement of playing through the non-conference slate of games continues, so we continue with talking about random thoughts as they come up during the show. Doug jumped on the show to give us the lines for the week, and it definitely seems like there is some easy money on the board this week. We also talked about what we want to see from the Fightin' Texas Aggies against the Rice Owls, and that's the important stuff. We somehow managed to spend more time talking about Alaskan Bush People, coaching changes, and Hunter goes on a good old fashioned Baylor rant to make it clear that we run this state. BTHO Rice!

Podcast #115 – Lamar is Spanish for Beatdown
Oh Lamar. You tried. At least you got to be part of a state record. The opening game of the halfway redeveloped Kyle Field was in question after a two hour lightning delay that pushed kickoff to 8:50PM. Once the game finally got rolling, it was easy going for the Aggies on the way to a 73-3 victory. Second, Third, and Fourth string players started seeing snaps as early as the second quarter to help the starters stay healthy and rested. The Aggies just didn't ever receive much resistance from the Lamar Cardinals. We shared our takeaways from the game, talk about the highlights and lowlights of the grand opening of the new stadium, and Jackass of the Week makes its return.

Podcast #114 – Lamar Preview, TV Shows, and Placing Bets
The Aggies have a bye week this week. Wait, what's that. Oh yeah. Sorry. The Aggies face the mighty Lamar Cardinals this week, so you can imagine how incredible this episode probably is. We start things off by having Mrs. DerekAggie06 give her keys to the game, and I must say they are riveting. We broke down what we want to see out of the Aggies in this non-conference game, and what we think the outcome will be. We are also joined again by our resident gambling aficionado Doug Keegan to place our bets on this week's top games.

Podcast #113 – Recapping the Gamecock Beatdown
After a gloriously long weekend of college football, it's time to take a look back at the week that was. The Aggies went on the road and completely dominated a Top 10 South Carolina Gamecock program. We give our takeaways from the game, our key moments of the game, and then we keep it real and let you know what we're concerned with after Week 1. Mr. Lucas Jackson hopped on to take us around the SEC and give us his thoughts on where everyone stands in the league after one week of play (Sorry, Florida). We of course had to get some Best Buds voicemails after the big win, and it's safe to say that are buds were in a good mood after this one.

Podcast #112 – Gamecock Preview and Talking Spreads
Week 1 is upon us and we were finally able to cure the itch of doing a game preview podcast that's been plaguing us for 7 long months. This episode is a long one, but we couldn't help ourselves. So put on your headphones, act like you're getting some work done (we know you aren't anyways), and get amped up for Thursday night! The Aggies are on their way to Columbia, South Carolina for another the first game of thehistoric newly created rivalry between them and the Gamecocks. We were joined by Brandi Mills to get a fan's perspective on the matchup with the Aggies. Brandi was a great sport and a lot of fun to chat with, so give her a follow if you're on Twitter. We also kicked off two segments that will be regulars on our weekly preview shows. Doug hopped on to give us the top betting lines across the country, and he's likely still laughing at the picks Hunter and I made. Wes makes his return to The Around Aggieland Show with the much loved, often feared Wildcard Wes segment.

Podcast #111 – Previewing the Aggies 2014 Season
It's finally that time. The Around Aggieland show is back on the air to break down all things Aggies and the SEC. We're of course happy to announce that we're apart of Aggie Sports Radio from VSporto. They'll be bringing Aggie fans 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Aggie sports talk on their website and on their phone app. We're excited about the new segments we'll have on the show this season, and we'll explain those in more detail further down (we explain them in this episode). To kick off the season, Dave Bartoo from CFBMatrix.com joined us to talk about the CFBMatrix College Football Preview digital magazine, his thoughts on the SEC and the College Football Playoff, and of course the Aggies heading into the 2014 season. Spoiler alert: Dave has the Coach Sumlin ranked with the highest positive coach effect over the last two seasons. The preview magazines are amazing, so click on this sentence somewhere and go check them out.

Podcast #110 – A Little CBI and a Lotta Spring Football
After being gone for entirely too long, we're finally back on the airwaves to talk Aggie sports with our GBH family! We dive into our thoughts on the CBI and the hoops coaching situation (cough Pearl cough). We were also joined by Taylor Hamm from GigEm247.com to get the latest on Isaiah Golden and Ivan Robinson. Taylor also talked about the rising star of Speedy Noil, and who he thinks may have the edge to replace Johnny Manziel as QB1 for the Aggies. Who is your player to keep an eye on as Spring practice goes on? Let us know in the comments.
