Are you a growth-minded Financial Advisor?  Learn more about joining The AGC™ here: www.advisorgc.com --- About Kyle Van Pelt Kyle Van Pelt is a leader and expert in the FinTech field. He has a unique perspective of what the future holds for financial advisors and will be sharing what we should be excited for, willing to incorporate in our practices and be aware of in the coming years. Here's a little more about Kyle: Currently hanging out at SS&C Advent focusing on shaping the Black Diamond Wealth Platform for large financial services firms. My journey here has been unconventional - I never thought I would end up in finance! I started working in professional sports, then into software, then my wife and I started and ran a coffee shop, then back to software and in to finance! I have tried a bunch of different things and built a diverse set of experiences. My unique abilities are: - Connecting the dots between the future of technology and finance. - Building strategic partnerships - Connecting and promoting great people. My personal passions include: – My family! (I've been married for 8 years to my wonderful wife and we have 4 kids). – Golf. I'm a 7 handicap and on a quest to play all of the top 100 golf courses in the USA. – Coffee. I try to find and support a specialty coffee shop in every city I visit and also attempt to brew perfect cups of coffee while at home. – Cooking. I'm currently cooking through every dish in the Southern Gentleman's Cookbook. – Sports. Go Phillies (My dad played for them in the minors), UGA Dawgs, ATL Falcons, ATL UTD. – Inspiring generosity. Fed over 20,000 people for Thanksgiving last year through Hungry 4 a Day! Bonus: I am deeply passionate about using technology to make investing more accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy. The past 10 years have provided the longest bull market ever and many from my generation missed out due to fear from the 2008 crisis. I want to help change that.

Khe Hy: Productivity, Happiness, and Asking The Right Questions
Are you a growth-minded Financial Advisor?  Learn more about joining The AGC™ here: www.advisorgc.com --- About Khe Hy From Khe's blog, Rad Reads, " I worked on Wall Street for 15 years and seemingly had it all. Income. Status. A nice apartment. But deep inside, I felt comfortably numb and was afraid I’d spend the rest of my life going through the motions." Khe left Wall Street to follow his passions, which led to the creation of Rad Reads, which he describes as, "This blog is an examination into my own life; what is my relationship to money, status, work, and time? It turns out that seemingly pragmatic questions (should I change jobs, why do I fight with my spouse, have I made enough money) are gateways into our own souls. And what we find there is a bit scary but mostly beautiful." In addition to writing at RR, Khe also hosts education webinars, makes the rounds speaking, and coaches high performing professionals helping them find their ways to creating the life that makes them most happy. Oh, and he's an avid surfer.

Rory Sutherland: Marketing, Branding, and How to "Make Magic" as Financial Advisors
Are you a growth-minded Financial Advisor?  Learn more about joining The AGC™ here: www.advisorgc.com --- About Rory Sutherland: Rory is the Vice Chairman of Ogilvy, an attractively vague job title that has allowed him to co-found a behavioral science practice within the agency. Sutherland works with a consulting practice of psychology graduates who look for ‘unseen opportunities’ in consumer behavior - these are the often small contextual changes which can have enormous effects on the decisions people make - for instance tripling the sales rate of a call center by adding just a few sentences to the script. Put another way, lots of agencies will talk about "bought, owned and earned" media: we also look for "invented media" and "discovered media": seeking out those unexpected (and inexpensive) contextual tweaks that transform the way that people think and act. It is a hugely valuable activity - but, alas, not particularly lucrative. This is because clients generally do not have budgets for solving problems they did not know they had. Before founding Ogilvy Change, Rory Sutherland was a copywriter and creative director at Ogilvy for over 20 years, having joined as a graduate trainee in 1988. He is the author of two books: The Wiki Man and the best-selling Alchemy: The Dark Art and Curious Science of Creating Magic in Brands, Business, and Life. Rory is married to a vicar and has twin daughters of 17. He lives in the former home of Napoleon III - unfortunately in the attic. He is a trustee of the Benjamin Franklin House in London and of Rochester Cathedral.

Erica Ballard: How To Optimize Performance By Focusing On Wellness
Are you a growth-minded Financial Advisor?  Learn more about joining The AGC™ here: www.advisorgc.com --- About Erica Ballard: I thought I knew what healthy was. I followed the healthy food trends. I picked working out oversleep. And, for God sakes, I worked in the health care industry for nearly a decade. So yea, I thought I knew what “healthy” was. But on my own health journey, I realized I was wrong. I didn’t know what “healthy” was it was, and I definitely didn’t know how it felt. Like you, I was sold the lies that healthy living is about numbers – number of workouts, numbers on the scale, and number of calories in a meal. But it’s not. Healthy living is about taking care of your unique body and mind. And that realization, well, it changed my life. Today, I listen to what my body needs and I give it what it wants.  Now, look, getting here wasn’t easy at first. But I figured it out. And now, I have a healthy rhythm that fits effortlessly into my life despite my busy schedule.  And that’s what I want to help others do. I want to help them figure out how to fit health into their life despite their calendar full of meetings. It’s why I started my business. I want to help you ditch the diets. I want to help you gain control over your food choices. Because I want to help do, feel, and look better. I want to help you become the best version of yourself. Because I know what eating healthy foods can do for you. For your performance. For your life. I have seen how taking care of yourself changes your outlook and your output. Because I truly believe when you’re at your best, that big vision of yours is possible. That's why I work with people who are ready to make a serious life change. Because I have the tools they need gain control over their choice, boost their energy, and enhance their performance. And I want to share them.
