Key Principle #3 to Business Success
Today we are talking about Principle #3 for business success and how to utilize this concept.  Principle #3… Be Passionate Being passionate about what you are doing is a must have if you want to move ahead. If you are not passionate about what you are doing, then odds are good that you are going to get burnt out and sick of it. The most successful businesses in the world were founded by people who were so passionate about what they were doing that a day never went by that felt like work to them. That is exactly what you should be looking for! How to Renew and Utilize Your Passion for Your Business Rediscovering your passion can sometimes be difficult, especially if you have been going through hard times. If work is starting to feel a lot like WORK, then rediscover why you loved it in the first place. Talk to mentors who are in the same business. Figure out what it is about your business that you love, and then channel that into your efforts.  What is the emotional and financial payoff you will experience? Key Principle #2 to Business Success
Today we are talking about Principle #2 for business success and how to utilize this concept. Principle #2… Do Research Neil Armstrong once said, “In much of society, research means to investigate something you do not know or understand.” When it comes to business, it is extremely important to investigate before taking a leap, and this investigation is exactly what research is.   How to Utilize Research for Your Business Use research to test any theories that you might have before taking decisive action. Are you thinking of carrying a new type of product or service? Then do some research and find out if your clients/prospects would buy such a product or service. Decisions that are not researched thoroughly beforehand can end up failing, especially if you happen to guess wrong about factors that could have been tested and investigated beforehand.  Tune in tomorrow for the 3rd key principle to business success.  Subscribe to my high-value proven business success tips and resources Blog (https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/blog/)    Take advantage of all the complimentary business tips and tools by joining the Free Silver Membership on https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/coaching-store/inner-circle-store/.  Want more from The Accountability Coach™, subscribe to more high-value content by looking for me on https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/my-podcast/ and on most podcast platforms and in most English-speaking countries, or by going to https://itunes.apple.com/podcast/accountabilitycoach.com/id290547573.   Go to https://www.accountabilitycoach.com to check out for yourself how I, as your Accountability Coach™, can help you get and stay focused on you highest payoff activities that put you in the highest probability position to achieve your professional and personal goals, so you can enjoy the kind of business and life you truly want and deserve.   As an experienced accountability coach and author of 5 books, I help business professionals make more money, work less, and enjoy even better work life balance. Key Principle #1 to Business Success
Today we are talking about Principle #1 for business success and how to utilize this concept. Principle #1… Be Organized Organization is key when it comes to business. If you can’t take care of your desk, then how do you plan on taking care of your company? Keeping everything organized, from paperwork to personnel, will not only eliminate confusion, but will set a good example for everyone in your firm.   How to Utilize Organization for Your Business Utilizing this principle begins with YOU. To start with, never leave an area without making sure that you have organized it. If you have papers on your desk at night, organize them and put them away before you go home. On the same note, make sure that employees keep their areas neat and tidy. Never allow clutter or chaos to rule your workspace. If you have several people doing the same job, you can take a picture of the ideal workspace and how to organize it for maximum effectiveness. Add this photo to the procedures manual so everyone has access to it. Habit #5 that Secretly Affects Your Productivity
Today we are talking about habit #5 of the 5 habits that secretly affects your productivity, which is Planning Long Meetings. To improve productivity and keep your eyes on your goals, it is important to plan meetings to understand each team’s activities towards achieving the overall organization’s goals. Meetings also help you inform your employees of new decisions, update them on important notices and changes that affect their activities, and keep you updated on other items.   The challenges businesses face with planning long meetings are that: ·         Most of the items can be attended to in one email ·         It leaves employees feeling drained and uninterested ·         Simply planning long meeting takes valuable time  ·         Long meetings consume valuable time and have a huge impact on everyone’s productivity  Optimize your time by utilizing short, stand-up huddles instead to inform your employees and receive crucial feedback. People can’t get too comfortable when they are standing up. It will help to make the meetings short and to the point. Come to each meeting with a very specific agenda and have team members bring their own agenda, so time is utilized effectively.  To download my complimentary meeting agenda and action item worksheet template, go to https://bit.ly/MeetingAgendaActionsTemplate.  Getting rid of these five small habits that we have discussed over the past 5 days that negatively impact your productivity can set you on a path to success faster and at an accelerated pace. Cut out one habit every week to see its impact on your productivity and your team’s productivity in a short time. Habit #4 that Secretly Affects Your Productivity
Today we are talking about habit #4 that secretly affects your productivity, which is Planning Without Time Blocks.  Time blocking is revered as one of the essential time management skills due to its efficiency and ease of use. Time blocking deals with scheduling tasks in specific hours of the day and doing those activities only during their scheduled time frames. When you plan without time blocks, there is a higher chance that your one task may not get done or may extend through hours of the day which will cause delayed tasks and outright cancellations of important decisions that may affect your business success. Planning without time blocks strictly affects your organization and time management skills that negatively impact your business’ performance. Everyone in your firm needs to be good at time blocking their tasks and activities and it will make everyone even more productive.  For more on time blocking, check out an article I wrote by going to https://bit.ly/Time_Blocking.  Tune in tomorrow for habit #5 that secretly affects your productivity.   If you get value from these Accountability Minutes, please take a minute to leave me a short rating and review. Habit #3 that Secretly Affects Your Productivity
Today we are talking about habit #3 that secretly affects your productivity, which is Checking Social Media.  Social media is more than a way to view memes, gifs, and videos, as well all know. It has transformed into a platform that benefits businesses at every turn, when managed properly.  As an entrepreneur, you may be handling your social media by yourself.  The only challenge with this is that checking your social media can be a slippery slope, as you might already have experienced more than you care to admit. You may open any of your platforms to reply to a message or just to take a look at your insights or performance for a minute. This can quickly devolve into hours of watching funny videos, liking posts, and jumping from page to page, and one attraction to another.  Instead of doing this, simply turn off all your social media notifications and put your phone out of sight. When you do this, you can focus on the most important high payoff tasks you have to handle to move your business forward.  Strictly follow the allotted time block when you handle your social media services. Once the time allotted is up, put your device away or close the apps or tabs and turn your focus to other high payoff activities. This will help you improve your productivity. If you are the only one to do social media marketing, time block when you will do this activity. I recommend not doing this during prime time, of course. Ideally, you can hire this activity to someone else who is an expert because it can be delegated and doesn’t need to be done by you. You should only do what you can do and can’t be done by anyone else.  Tune in tomorrow for habit #4 that secretly affects your productivity.  For more on time blocking, check out an article I wrote by going to https://bit.ly/Time_Blocking. Check out my proven business accelerator resources by going to https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/coaching-store/.   Aim for what you want each and every day!   Anne Bachrach The Accountability Coach™

Habit #2 that Secretly Affects Your Productivity
Today we are talking about habit #2 that secretly affects your productivity, which is Continuously Checking Your Emails. As we all know, emailing is one of the preferred choices of communication amongst businesses and their clients, partners, and suppliers alike. Due to its ability to instantly search and receive messages, emails remain a trusted mode of communication to keep you informed at all times. The challenge business professionals face with emails is that continuously checking emails has become a habit that chews away at a lot of your very valuable time. Sometimes, you can spend hours searching and refreshing your emails and responding to emails and messages. Doing this continuously has a negative impact on your productivity.  Though it is important to be informed, utilize an important time management skill like time blocking to help you check your emails and function at an optimal level. Section an hour or a few minutes of your day to check your emails. This can be done either once in the morning, around 11:00, is what I recommend (and not the first thing in the morning), and then around 4:00pm to be on top of your inbox for tomorrow.  Doing this helps you focus on more important tasks and significantly improves your productivity.  Tune in tomorrow for habit #3 that secretly affects your productivity.  For more on time blocking, check out an article I wrote by going to https://bit.ly/Time_Blocking.   If you get value from these Accountability Minutes, please take a minute to leave me a short rating and review. Habit #1 that Secretly Affects Your Productivity
Today we are talking about habit #1 that secretly affects your productivity, which is Failing to Plan Your Day. Many times, you may want to wing it. Take the day as it comes. When thinking of facing your daily challenges by writing it out and planning ahead with specific time blocks, you may choose to forgo this part of your day and attend to activities as they come. This small habit has a much larger impact on your productivity than you can even begin to fathom. This is because by failing to plan your day ahead, you cannot organize and prioritize your daily high payoff activities; therefore, not being as productive as you can and need to be.  This leads to overwhelm, postponed tasks, lack of focus, multiple intrusions, and distractions that greatly affect your productivity and overall efficiency, and increased success. Tune in tomorrow for habit #2 that secretly affects your productivity. Fifth Way to Stay More Committed To Your Business
Today we are talking about a 5th way of the 5 ways to help you stay more committed to your business, which is, Remember to Take Breaks. Keep in mind that you are not limitless. You are going to occasionally get burnt out, and you are going to get frustrated… just like everyone else. The important thing to remember is that it is okay to walk away and take a break when this happens. If you don’t, you can dig yourself into a hole deep enough to consume all of your energy… and coming back from this hole is far more challenging. It is important to get away and ‘recharge’ your batteries before you deplete yourself. Taking breaks to get rejuvenated needs to be a part of your plan and a commitment to yourself, so you can be the very best you need to be when it is required. To wrap up we have explored over the past 5 days - What Can You Do To Stay More Committed? When it comes to being committed, it is all about taking the first step. Commit to a single step, and then move onto the next one. Commit to your long-term goals, but don’t let the whole picture overwhelm you. Taking each one of these 5 tips into consideration is a great way to get started on the path to establishing a greater commitment for your business, to yourself, and to your overall success. You WILL succeed, as long as you stay consistent and committed to your goals.  For help in creating a success game plan that you are excited to execute so you can commit to your end goal, watch my Masterclass by going to https://bit.ly/Watch2023SuccessPlanning.    Want more from me, subscribe to my business success tips and resources Blog, by going to https://accountabilitycoach.com/blog.    Take advantage of the complimentary business tips and tools by joining the Free Silver Membership on https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/.      Want more from me, The Accountability Coach™, subscribe to more high-value content by looking for The Accountability Coach Podcast which you can find on most platforms and in most English-speaking countries. Fourth Way to Stay More Committed To Your Business
Today we are talking about a 4th way to help you stay more committed to your business, which is, Keep the Building Blocks In Sight. If you find that you have begun committing to things that are not bringing you closer to your goals, then it is important to remember what the original building blocks of your strategy were. If you have current commitments that are not helping you, then you might want to do some re-prioritizing, so that your direction lines back up with your future goals. Third Way to Stay More Committed To Your Business
Today we are talking about a 3rd way to help you stay more committed to your business, which is, Commit to the End Goal… Not To How You Get Them Done. You need to remember to stay flexible as you build your business. If you get too ‘set in your ways’, you can end up getting burnt out when things do not go as planned. It is extremely important to remember what you have to do… but it is also important to remember that changing methods is not a bad thing. Committing to the end goal will help you to accept changes in your path, without making you feel like you are failing yourself.  Tune in tomorrow for the 4th way to stay more committed.  For help in creating a success game plan that you are excited to execute so you can commit to the end goal, watch my Masterclass by going to https://bit.ly/Watch2023SuccessPlanning. Second Way to Stay More Committed To Your Business
Today we are talking about a 2nd way to help you stay more committed to your business, which is, Commit in Small Steps. Looking at an entire project and ‘committing’ to achieving it in your mind can often be overwhelming, even for people who are used to taking on great amounts of responsibility. But if you take that entire project and break it down into smaller portions, you will soon find that committing to those portions is usually much easier. Overcoming large problems is almost always best accomplished by breaking it down into smaller, more specific bite-sized steps.  Tune in tomorrow for the 3rd way to stay more committed. Tip #4 for Being More Consistent and Increasing Your Results
Today we are talking about Tip #4 of the 4 tips for being more consistent, which is, Never Give Up. This might sound like a no-brainer, but not giving up does not always just have to refer to the ‘big’ parts of your business. If getting up at 6 in the morning has been hard on you, but good for your business, then try to find a way to make it work. Try to find a way to keep the consistency going! Don’t give up coming in at 6am just because the going is getting tougher! Making revenue generation calls for new business isn’t always easy or enjoyable for everyone, but we all need to do new client acquisition work – even when we don’t want to and when we seem to get a lot of “no’s” all at one time. You must keep forging on and doing whatever it takes to generate new business for the success of your business. Giving up doesn’t just mean giving up on your business; it could mean giving up on your vision, on a policy, on a plan, on an idea, or even on an afternoon. Do your best to avoid giving up anything that could lead to more consistency for your business!  Adopting a plan that will result in more consistency for your business can seem daunting… so do it one step at a time. Start by applying these 4 simple tips we have reviewed over the past 4 days. You will be amazed at how small changes will add up to big victories, bigger profits, and a tremendous (and well earned!) sense of accomplishment. If you want to be even more consistent and intentional, reach out to me today and schedule your complimentary consultation. Tip #3 for Being More Consistent and Increasing Your Results
Today we are talking about Tip #3 for being more consistent, which is, Be Committed.  One way to achieve consistency is to commit to it. This could mean committing to work until a certain time each day, working by appointment only as much as possible (minimize phone tag), completing a specific amount of revenue generation hours each week, or meeting with your employees on a regular basis to reduce distractions and interruptions (be more time efficient). Regardless of what you intend to accomplish or pledge to do, making one or more commitments is likely to affect your business in a positive way.   One of the easiest ways to commit to your business is to be as passionate about it as when you first started. If you are having trouble finding passion in what you are doing, try to angle it so that you create passion. One way to do this is to sit down and make a list of all the good things that your business can accomplish each day and how it impacts those you serve. Try to remember what made you want to get into the business in the first place. If need be, you can always refer back to your original motivators. Once you establish what your passion is, you can more easily commit to what you are doing… and once you do this, consistency will follow.  Tune in tomorrow for tip #4 for being even more consistent.
