He served as a T-6II First Assignment Instructor Pilot, an MC-12 (King Air 350) pilot, and ultimately an F-16 pilot. During his time in the Air Force, John flew 128 combat missions during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. John’s final flying assignment in the Air Force was the commander and pilot for the Air Combat Command’s F-16 Viper Demo team.
