God may require a time of Cleansing - Episode 9
When we sign against God, he may require a time of cleansing before allowing us to enter our "land" again and receive his blessings. There are several examples of this happening in the Bible.

Why do the Wicked Prosper? - Episode 8
Why do the Wicked Prosper? Why does God punish his own people when we sin against him, but the wicked, who have no regard for God, continue to live their lives happy and prosperous? It doesn't seem fair to us. We will discuss this subject in this podcast and see what God has to say about this subject.

Do Not Grumble and Complain - Episode 7
After Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and into the desert, they were constantly grumbling and complaining. They did not trust God to provide for their needs, even after the demonstration of God’s power when he parted the waters and led them on dry ground across the Red Sea. It seems impossible that they were unable to trust God after this great event, but that is what happened.

Wait for God's Timing - Episode 6
I know it is true with me, and perhaps true with you, that I can be very impatient, and want things to happen in my time-frame. But God has a better way, and his timing is perfect, because he knows the situation much more clearly than we do, and he is able to bring about events, and prepare people, so that when he does bring about something he has promised, the timing is perfect. We need to make sure we wait for his timing, even though every fiber in our being wants to take over the situation and hurry it up.

Do not make a Treaty with the People in the Land - Episode 5
In this Episode we talk about "Making a Treaty with the People in the Land." When the Israelites were going to enter the land God had promised them, God told them that they were not to make a treaty with the people in the land. He also said they were not to intermarry with them. If they made a treaty with the people, the people would become a snare to them. They would be invited to their festivals, and invited to participate in worshiping the gods that they served. God told them if they did this that his anger would burn against them.

God wants us to Inquire of Him - Episode 4
God wants us to inquire of him. Sometimes it is good to get advice from people we trust and people we believe will not lead us astray, but if we do this, we must also be sure to seek God’s will and talk directly with him. God also wants us to walk in obedience to his commands and have no idols in our hearts. This is because he wants to bless us and give us guidance. Because God is holy and cannot tolerate sin, he needs us to repent of our sins before we come before him, and then he will gladly answer us when we come to him for guidance.

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life - Episode 2
In Episode 2 of the Teach Me Your Ways Lord Podcast, we celebrate the fact that Jesus has Risen on this Easter weekend, and we celebrate that it is through him that we are able to walk in the Ways of the Lord. I discuss how we can successfully walk in the Ways of the Lord. We cannot walk in the Ways of the Lord on our own. We need the saving grace of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit living in us in order to walk in obedience to God. Sometimes it seems that no matter how hard we try, we keep doing the things we don’t want to do, even though deep in our being we want to do the right things. But Jesus tells us the he is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Through him, and the Holy Spirit living within us we can walk in the Ways of the Lord.

Teach Me Your Ways Lord - Episode One
This podcast discusses the ways of the Lord, and why we would want to educate ourselves about his ways and the benefits of doing this. When we learn about the ways of the Lord, we are educating ourselves about how God wants us to respond to him, how he wants us to respond to others, and how we should respond to situations we encounter in this life. God is Holy, and he wants us to strive to be like him. He wants us to submit to his will, and put him first in our life. When we put him first and trust him to lead us, we will avoid many heartaches that we would encounter when we insist on having things our own way.
