In the village of Elventree, near the oppressive town of Hillsfar, a recent string of odd occurrences has the locales of the region worried for their lives. The factions of the Faerun have gathered near the borders of the Cormanthor forest to try and understand the cause of the disturbances. Is this the doing of the bigoted Hillsfar, or something more sinister?  The fifth and final clue of the madman's ravings has lead the party to an abandoned graveyard attached to a church of Waukeen. The church was established by humans who settled in the area long ago, but has found itself in disrepair. A rothe, if you are unaware, is a large beast popular in the area and can be regarded as similar to a water buffalo in the real world. Anyway, this farm is known for being the largest rothe farm in the area, but rumor has it the farm was built on top of an ancient evil that has taken root.
