In this episode I give my thoughts on the institution of America, her ideals, practices and the things gone unsaid and done that reared their head on the Capitol yesterday. I give my thoughts and reaction to the storming of the Senate yesterday 1/6/2021 and how unsurprising it was and is to a lot of Americans that are minority. Will we be better to one another instead of trying to benefit ourselves in spite of one another? Does America have the strength to deal with it's past transgressions in order to move forward so yesterday doesn't happen again? We will see and I will pray.

I catch you guys up on what's been going on in my life since the last recording, my apologies. We talk about the upcoming election, thoughts on the two Presidential debates and the VP debate also. Expedited confirmations in the Senate and the growing list of distasteful tactics being used in the name of politics.

My thoughts on the assassinations of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd. I speak on no knock warrants, excessive force, riots/looting. I talk about a conversation I have with my son and the dangers that he will face, no parent should have to take away some of their child's innocence and replace it with cautiousness. What it means to be black in America and where it has all of this come from. Share and keep listening. Treat others with the compassion and love that you have for your loved ones and see the bridges you build and the hearts that are brought together.

My thoughts about the rumors of the corona virus, those at the front lines and those that have been affected by this pandemic worse than others. Politics, disenfranchisement and what will happen if we don't adjust and change for our collective future. Just my thoughts on all of it and it is pretty sad and daunting to look at how things aren't slowing down when we are trending towards opening everything back up.  Please be safe everyone and as always I love each and every one of you. First episode of 2020!!!!! Goals for Talk Your Truth with V for the new year. A brief conversation about dating one person or "talking" to multiple people at a time and my thoughts on this. How I believe this shouldn't be forgotten when it comes to the "New Year, New Me" mantra that is adopted ever so often when it comes to a new year. More to come soon!!!

In this episode I talk about Elizabeth Banks blaming men for her movie underperforming and using feminism as a distraction that her movie just was not executed to the level it should have been. Also, Twitter Feminist Liz Shannon Miller trying to call cancel culture for Disney+ "The Mandalorian" for the lack of what she feels the representation should be. I call them out and challenge them to be better and see the reality of the world around you.

The NCAA is entering the voting process is which they will vote to allow student athletes to profit from a percentage of the revenue the university brings in for athletics. Nay sayers to this proposal and the slippery slope it may create. My thoughts on this is here. Would you work for free in hopes eventual success when it could be over with one injury? This is my reaction to Toni Harris being the first woman to sign a letter of intent to play football at the collegiate level of Division II or higher. This is monumental and I give my opinions on what this means for future generations.
