Take Charge of your Productivity
Today we are talking about Energy. All too often I see people focusing their resources on time management strategies and programs that aren’t giving sustainable results (systems get abandoned, and they fall back into old habits). That is because the primary focus is faulty...you cannot control time. It will pass at the same rate, every single day, and no matter how many books you read or seminars you attend you can’t create more or slow it down. What you can control is ENERGY. When you focus instead on what you bring to your time, and on creating the best energy, you will finally be able to work smarter instead of harder. You will simply be more satisfied more often. I’m joined today by Luke Lorio to discuss how managing your energy can completely change your life and your business.

Special Encore Presentation: Move It!
This week we will focus on the power of physical movement and the effect this has on our performance: physically and mentally. Physiology is one of the 10 Essential elements, and it is an integral part of your psychology. Movement is essential for our physical and mental health. If we aren't moving we are only tapping into a small part of our capabilities and missing out on the potential that movement opens up for us. Movement really is vital. Movement makes your body work better; it helps your digestion, your sleep, and even your cognitive abilities! Everything functions better with some sort of activity. Movement even affects our psyche and self confidence! People who, due to illness or injury, have to remain in a hospital bed often experience depression or anxiety in addition to the loss of muscle tone. Going a step further, consider movement’s power to heal. Physical therapy is an integrated part of nearly all recovery processes. This is because the medical and psychiatric communities recognize the importance of regaining motion on the total healing process. This week I’ll be joined by Tamlyn Hill, an expert Kinesiologist to discuss her work in the art of movement

Take Charge of Your Productivity: TeeJay Dow
To simplify how the 10 critical elements required for quantum growth come together I came up with a Windmill as a metaphor for human productivity. The windmill has a gear mechanism that works from within; the smoother, more consistent, and faster the blades turn, the more productive you tend to be. In taking charge of your productivity, there are three segments – or in windmill terminology, “blades” – that are critical. They are Psychology, Strategy and Sustainability. Without all three of these, your “productivity windmill” is underpowered; it turns but not optimally. All in all there are 10 core elements that make up these three blades. This week we are going to talk about another framework all together, that embodies energy management at our core. Talent Dynamics is based in the idea of psychometric testing which is originally credited to I-Ching. Carl Jung modified this system for the west and incorporated it into his practice. Later Roger Hamilton built on those practices and re-introduced some traditional eastern elements from I-Ching that had been stripped out to create Talent Dynamics. The framework of Talent Dynamics helps us to better understand our natural strengths in a very tangible and practical way. We are welcoming back special guest TeeJay Dow. She is a coach, trainer, entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker. TeeJay has taken this framework to create a global initiative for teens.

This week’s topic is Language. Language is one of the 4 core elements that make up our Psychology. You will notice that we talk about language on the show twice as much as all the other topics! This is because Language is THE most important ingredient in creating your championship psychology. After years of studying methods for balancing your life and creating increases for my client’s productivity, I have found that mastering your language with yourself and others is the biggest driving force behind the quality of our lives and businesses. It is our language that drives our emotion, not the words we speak out loud, but the language in terms of the patterns of thought we engage in and the questions we ask ourselves. Our behavior stems from that communication, so it is the quality of our language that dictates the quality of everything we do, the relationships we have, and our ability to reach true success. I’m going to be joined by coach, entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker Tish Squillaro about getting rid of your “head trash” and finding peace, balance, and of course: productivity.

Special Encore Presentation: What message are you sending?
This week we’ll be discussing my favorite topic. Language! You have heard me say it before, from my experience Language is an integral part of your psychology. I chose the word language instead of communication because language is a little more specific. When we look at our language we’re considering the words and tone, and nonverbal cues that we use to communicate with ourselves and others. This conveys our beliefs, how we filter outside information, and what meaning we have assigned that information in our own mind. Although Professor Mehrabian found that words account for only 7% of our communication, what he meant was 7% of external communication. Because the internal communication drives the other 93%. It is the language and words we use with ourselves, in our thoughts and perceptions, that really shapes how we see and present ourselves through our behavior. This week we will examine the nonverbal cues that account for so much of our language.

Take Charge of Your Productivity: Bernie Dohrmann
This week we are talking about Winning Strategies, which is blade #2 of my windmill. Working smarter, not harder, is how you take your business to a new level. It is about becoming the owner of your business and getting out of the role of operator. As an operator you are lost in the busy of the day to day but are not able to provide strategic direction and positioning for your business from this perspective. In my quantum productivity program, this section reveals the best practices behind 3 elements that make up Winning Strategies, Planning, Process and Priority. I’ll be joined today by the founder of CEO Space, Bernie Dohrmann to discuss his strategies for success.
