WHEN HOARDING GOES WRONG..the DO'S AND DON'TS
When piles build up, visitors move in. Those visitors often hide in secret. Mice LOVE to burrow. They also LOVE to chew. Dessert can be electrical wires covered among the things. Unfortunately they are never toilet trained. One mouse we found died on his back, feet in the air with what appeared to be a smile on his face in a partially nibbled, case of Lindt chocolate bars. Another visitor is mold. Mold is a living thing and has many family members. All members of the mold family are a problem and will secretly climb your walls behind the piles until they take over your rooms and your health. There are many other crises that Hoarded environments are vulnerable to. October 12th join Elaine Birchall , therapist and Hoarding Behaviour and Intervention Specialist and her guest Mike Frampton of Ontario Remediation Services and learn how to spot crises brewing early and what to DO AND NOT DO!
