Greetings to all sentient beings. This Is... ENCOUNTER MACHINE Tabletop encounters that will take YOUR game to the next level. Encounter 2: Husks: The Dungeon Turning Point Frame: Deep in a dungeon, when you need to shake things up Mechanical: Swarms released by touch, finding an escape Hull: Horrifying forms of long-dead abominations, baffling cavern gloom, no way out Weapons: Oozes, Black Pudding, Hatchlings, Confusion Wetware: Wracking memories of evil darker than human malice Level: 3-7 Monsters: Oozes, Black Pudding, Spider Swarm (p. 240 5E MM...corrosion!!) Timer: Find an exit, 4 possible locations determined by a d4 on successful search Threat: Any time terrain is touched, spawn 1d6 enemies, ooze-slick floors make ANY movement a dex check Treat: Loot a hollowed husk-corpse to find an item from table G (p. 147 of the 5E DMG) Attachments: A perfect place to form phobias, or hint at an evil that threatens the entire world

Greetings to all sentient beings. This Is... ENCOUNTER MACHINE Tabletop encounters that will take YOUR game to the next level. Drunkens & Dragons Tabletop Terrors Encounter 1: The Fog of Time Frame: Any time your players want to travel Mechanical: A Goblin battle in a moving mass of time distortion Hull: Road, Wagon, Fog, Forest Weapons: Goblins, Combat Exclusion Wetware: Echoes across the centuries, objects that appear ancient in the present from folks in the fog Level: 1-5 Monsters: Goblins, one Big 'Ol Goblin (double stats) Timer: The fog slides forward with the breeze, 30 feet/round. He who stands within is transported to 150 years ago, when Goblins massacred the halflings of Riverbend. Maybe you can make a difference. Objects are also transported. Threat: Goblins pour outta de bushes Treat: Be known as a hero for decades if you can save Walter Maltwood, mayor of Riverbend Attachments: This is a good encounter to start a campaign, and can easily stand alone without opening up a Terminator 2 paradox chain. Can also come back later.
