Prologue - Sympathetic Colleague But What Does The Leisure HIDE?
Podcast transcript [Music] Hello everyone! This is Toby from HvOnAir [OneAir] speaking. I welcome you to this prologue of my very first show called: ‘Sympathetic Colleague, But What Does The Leisure Hide?’ What ‘the leisure hides’ sounds a little bit spooky, however I will now explain the idea with this show. I am on full time basis working in a train company in Denmark. My job is to provide service for the customers inside the trains and the customers are at the same time coloring my working days, however two days are not equal. During my job I see a lot of customers relaxing and enjoying the travel by listening to music, audio books and podcasts. I got this idea, that podcasts will be a great opportunity for our customers to learn a little bit more about the – actually quite normal – person (aka my colleague) driving the train or checking the tickets. What various kind of exiting hobbies do these uniformed train people have in their leisure? Consequently, the fact is, that I, Toby, related to the upcoming episodes will invite a colleague into the studio at HvOnAir to talk about interesting hobbies and let my colleagues share some personal tips with you. Right now, the following five episodes about hobbies are scheduled for this show: 1. [First] The passion as a Dane for English Premier League football and how to end up being a season ticket holder in an English club. 2. [Second] How to be passionate about vintage cars and meet up for enthusiasts. My colleague will also be arguing for the benefits of electric cars related to environmental improvements. 3. [Third] The passion for salmon fishing in Norway & Denmark. My colleague will also tell about a stroll to an angler’s paradise on an island during low tide. 4. [Fourth] The passion as a Dane about skiing in Austria in different ski areas every day and how to end up being a season ticket holder to almost every ski lift in Tyrol. 5. [Fifth] Port wine – the different types and how to be passionate about this tasty liquid treasure from the river Douro in Portugal. Well, that is for the time being five of the upcoming episodes in this show by HvOnAir – so STAY TUNED! Speaking right now, I cannot promise whether the show and episodes will be in my mother tongue Danish or in English or in both languages, because it completely depends on the colleague's wishes in the studio at HvOnAir. Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting you as a listener to this and other shows in the future. I am Toby@HvOnAir, HAPPY PODCASTING! [Music]
