The Farmlink Project
Today I’ll be chatting with Ben Collier, CEO of The Farmlink Project. Farmlink is working to decrease both food waste and hunger by connecting farmers to food banks. I first heard about The Farmlink Project during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic when they were rescuing fresh food from farms, that would have otherwise gone to landfill, to feed hungry people. Results of COP27
Today Jason and I will provide a high level overview of COP27. COP aka the Conference of Parties is a United Nations conference on climate change where over 35,000 participants, including over 100 heads of States and Governments, meet to discuss climate change problems and solutions. The goal is to meet the Pair Climate Accord of limiting the increase of global temperatures to 2 degrees C with the hopeful target being 1.5 degrees C.
