Bible/Inspirational Quote of the Day
Ecclesiastes 4:10, for if either falls, his companion can lift them up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift them up.
You Know... your hands don't just coexist together.
They multiply the effectiveness of the other.
They cooperate together to accomplish task that neither could do without both of them working in harmony.
And to continue succeeding at this level, each hand must be seen as incomplete without the other.
The same principle applies in marriage. One of you may be better at cooking, while the other is more thorough a cleaning the dishes.
One may be more gentle and be able to keep peace among family members, while the other handles discipline more effectively.
One partner may have a good business head, but needs the other to help him remember to be generous.
When we learn to accept the unique distinctions in our mate, we can then take advantage of the uniqueness that makes each of us more effective, and be grateful for the benefits this adds to the marriage.
